I'm an unlimited fount of motivators. You wanna know something weird? I can name the cannon mounted on her back. I always found those type of drawings unusual because I can recognize the source for the mech parts rather easily. That's an AC easily (the grenade cannon is a dead giveaway). It's eerie, but I think they are cool.

One hell of a way to lose though. @SiFir I dunno myself, just saw the pic, thought it looked cool. Pretty much the case of all my non-anime motivators.

One hell of a way to lose though. Let me guess...aerial superiority on their part? Unless your capitol in inside a cave or something it's hard to defend it from being carpet bombed with only ground forces and that tiny number of planes. Once they get your Anti-Air guns, you really lose the ability to fight back. I don't know the history, so if I'm correct it's because of a good guess. It's what I would do if I were Russia attacking someplace like Finland.

I personally figured it was sheer numerical superiority, even with the uneven losses, theres simply far too many of them. Thats 4 to 1 odds to begin with, on top of equipment superiority, even though thats pretty much the kind of odds needed to dislodge defenders in fortified positions, isn't it?

the most effective optimization is the one you can actually get away with. (A group of nerds are called a murder because like crows we are anti-social, like shiny things, and often squack at each other over nothing for hours) I often have to remind people not to underrate divination. The ability to effectively metagame without actually metagaming beats the ability to set things on fire more times than not.

Please tell me the 5th one isn't a real spider (or that that's a really small person... I know there are spiders that can get over a foot across)? I'm not afraid of 'em, but a spider that big would be somewhat unsettling...

It's what I would do if I were Russia attacking someplace like Finland. They never even made it to our capital. It got bombed like twice, but eventually Russians didn't even have the guts to use airplanes, because they dropped like flies. Anyway, Finland surrendered after too many casualties and Russians started moving in too many troops. Same happened again in the Continuation War that lasted over three years only a year after the Winter War ended. That time we surrendered, because throwing Nazis out of Finland was smarter than trying to fight a losing battle...

Hmm. Well that makes sense too. If you win the war only to have half your country destroyed in the process that can't be great for the local economy(except for the carpenters and stonemasons, of course. And the guys who make coffins).
