So as we were planning our next few episodes I decided I didn't want to edit an episode on my Birthday- next Saturday. So we are doing our first live episode! Join us at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/brilliant-gameologists on January 8th from 9-10 EST (I chose a time that should work for most US timezones, everyone else will just have to I don't know... take a lunch break or wake up in the middle of the night or something). There is a chat feature which we will have on and going so you can type in and ask questions and we can answer them live "on-air". We'll then release the episode unedited on our normal feed and schedule. The topic is Gaming Parties- how do you inflict gaming at parties or throwing your own gaming themed party- be it a Birthday, a New Year's Eve Party, or a "just because it's Saturday" party. Also a great chance just to shoot the shit with us and ask us questions. Think of it as a call in show! RSPV on our facebook event page. Even if you can't make it, post questions here before Thursday and we can read them on air!

So many January Birthdays!
If people respond on facebook I'll have an idea of how many. Or go to ustream and there is a button that says follow.
Note- you don't have to sign up for ustream to chat with us! But you'll just show up as "user32456" or something like that and I'll have no way to keep track of who is who. So if you sign up, use your screen name or when you chat start it each time with "This is SixthDeclension: What kind of dips do you guys prefer to go with celery?" - something like that. But don't ask that because it's lame.

We will be answering questions in chat-- that's the purpose of the live episode! We only have about 15-20 minutes of actual content so we're counting on questions! Any suggestions for topics can be posted here too - especially if its something we could think about beforehand. That would be very helpful. Gaming Parties? As in parties in which you game or games with which you party?
I like the phrase "Gaming Party" because it's so ambigious it could go either way. It was Zeke's suggestion and his thought was to talk about parties with your friends in which there is a gaming theme. So like running your own mini-con for your friends. Or like a "How to host a murder" but with more death. I'm going to talk about my New Year's Eve parties the last few years which have been parties with drinking and food but mucho gaming too. But again, any suggestions, post 'em here and we can go in a few directions if time allows! |
