Yes, but it's one low level spell away (without any fear of exhausting you). Blindsight and immunities on the other hand, among other stuff, aren't.

All setting-specific sources are disallowed by default (but can be brought in on a case-by-case basis)

Yeah, just unfortunately noticed this, must've looked over it when reading. So, for my case, will you allow Changelings and Recasters? If not that's totally fine, I can easily be a human and go straight Unseen Seer.

Forget about this, I decided to just go human.

Too late to apply?

I need to try out Tome of Battle before 4th Ed starts coming in full-force, so...something simple like Elf Warblade/Crusader shooting for Eternal Blade?

EDIT:
Elven Crusader:

Crusader 1: Extra Granted Maneuver, Stone Power, EWP (Kusari-Gama or Spinning Sword)
Crusader 2:
Crusader 3: Stand Still
Crusader 4:
Crusader 5:

I know I want flaws, but I have to pick them.

Maneuvers
1   Crusader's Strike, Douse the Flames, Leading the Attack, Vanguard Strike, Charging Minotaur | Iron Guard's Glare
2   | Martial Spirit
3   Battle Leader's Charge
4   Charging Minotaur ->  Tactical Strike
5   White Raven Tactics

Character background:

Myrd was living the good life. As a child growing up, his father, Thelonius Faust, gave him everything he could have ever wanted.  Spoiled as he was, Myrd was sheltered,  blind to the world around him. It was to be his downfall. His father, running a large and prosperous business of trade from the Faust Manor, was into some bad dealing with the Zaresh family, the Faust's greatest rivals in their trade. Myrd was expected to take up the family title of House Leader, but he largely ignored his duties for nights out on the town. As it was, the Zaresh family took great personal insult when Myrd skipped out on the trading rights meeting for the dockyards. And, as they often are, the docks are never a safe place.

The meeting was to take place in the dock master's office, supervised by the man himself, Icarus Tidefellow. AS Myrd was skipping his duties, the meeting was attacked. Assassins tore into the room, and killed everyone inside, as the reports said. Included in the deaths, was the Zaresh families own rising protege, Ahir Zaresh. Obviously suspecting the Faust's to be the cause of the murder, the Zaresh family immediately set out to destroy the entire Faust compound. When the blood red sun arose the next morning, the Faust Manor was little more than ashes in the wind.

But what of our protagonist? Ah, but he returns to his home after a night of gallanting and revelry, and is struck to the soul by what turn his life has taken. A Zaresh patrol spots him and gives chase, obviously to complete the job that was intended. Myrd flees, and disappears into the undergrounds of the city. As he rises into adulthood, he makes his living with thievery and cunning. But as rookies do, they make mistakes.

As his prominence rose, Myrd became somewhat cocky in his manner, and decided one day to pick the pocket of one of the college's wizards, knowing there must be something good. Though, not to his knowledge, the target of his theft is known to many as Kartagos the Sly, Archmage of the College of Esteemed Initiates. As you can imagine, Myrd is caught without hardly any thought, and is taken to court. Thought to be some reckless coward, he like many other thieves is sentenced to have his hands removed. But Kartagos, seeing something in the lad, decides to pardon the boy, under the exception that he is put into indentured service at the college. With the Archmage's renown, the court allows it, and the sentence is finalized.

In the first few weeks of work, Kartagos closely watches the boy as he works, starting conversation with him many a time. The lad has a fantastic intellect, and is able to coherently speak with the Archmage, never faltering in mind or speech. Warming to the boy, Kartagos takes him under his wing, and begins to teach him the wonders of magic. Myrd learns very quickly, and finds a greatly liking to the school of conjuration. Kartagos teaches the boy humility, and pushes him harder than he has ever been pushed. Myrd studies nonstop, determined to live up to his father's name, and find out who it was that made the coup, knowing his father to never lower himself to such a deed. His searches prove to be fruitless, his specialization in conjuration providing him with nothing to help him find the killers. Frustrated, he is determined to find new ways to discover the killers, and restore his family's honour.

Myrd, finding the college has nothing else to teach him, leaves with the permission of Kartagos. His ventures take him through various jobs, as he travels from city to city, never closer to finding the murderers. His travels eventually lead him to the city of Dun Eamon, a city known for it's trade. With his current band of adventurer's, The Hoods of Discretion, Myrd travels to enters the City of Mists, to find what jobs he can, and what clues that exist of the Zaresh murder.

Also, when I rolled my health in Invisible Castle, it came up with errors. It something wrong with it, or am I just dumb and did it wrong? I read Meg's handbook thingy...

By the way, I will be gone this coming weekend(Friday Saturday part of Sunday) and may or may not have access to a computer. Just a head's up really, so if I don't reply to being picked/not picked, that's why. But I'll be back Sunday for sure.

In conclusion, I hope I get picked, this is the first time I've ever done this.

The End.

Well, first post did ask for party balance... I guess NOT optimizing in a game with PI, Dictum, Janus and the like would be a bad thing.

EDIT:
A sneaking Conjurer? Not familiar with the concept. Could you perhaps enlighten me to how it "works"?

Knowledge Devotion from Complete Champ might be good for the Archivist. Depends on the types of spells you'll be casting (damaging vs. nondamaging).

Also, where is Trivial Knowledge from?  I know it is gnome only, I just forget where it's from.

If any of you is using Knowledge devotion, remember to have a look at Collector of Stories skill trick (+5 unnamed bonus to recognize monsters) and Lore of the Gods spell from Complete Champion (if you worship a deity who has Knowledge domain, you get +10 insight to knowledge checks, otherwise +5).

I dont think I'll be casting a lot of damaging spells, that why I didn't take Knowledge Devotion....

Trivial Knowledge is a Gnome only feat, to be found in Roces of Stone

Me like, me Like  Big Grin too bad it's only 10min/level though and lvl 2.... but still; a +10 insight on all knowledge checks is amazing!!!  Clap
