You don't handwave the slots. You cast the spell, and then the spell is still active after you have rested to regain spells.

Your slots recover even if a spell cast from them is still active.

Seriously, the only thing we are "handwaving" is that you had the foresight to get someone to cast Waterbreathing on you before you went off to fight the Planar Lords, including the Water one.

I don't know what your characters int score is, so I'm going to assume it's higher then 10, and he thought of this.

ok, I was under the impression that you were saying... the same thing but in a different way. whatever, that works.

that said, anyone have any suggestions as to how I can spend my remaining 30,000g?

Out of curiosity, is this game using the playing with fire or crawling darkness option for necromancy and undeath?

cool, I'm working on a paladin as a backup character, and found that vampire is a great race for it...

Well then, let's wait to hear back from Jaggyd, letting us know she's back, and go from there, I think we're pretty much ready.

Oh hey Judging Eagle I hope you don't mind that I named my dire eagle after you in a campaign. He was by far the best animal companion I had, only second to the wolf named The Psychopath Formerly Known As The Artist Formerly Known As Wolfenstein, who was formerly Dingo, and subsequently replaced by Duke Nukem, at which time he succumbed to taint and became a psychopath.

But the Judging Eagle was great, he helped me spot things and he tore some asses up.

Heeh. Sure, pad my ego with things I didn't do.  Blush

Name your next giant killer-wolf Nanya, or Loran. They're cool names for wolves.

How are we doing knowledge checks actually? Core RAW is pretty retarded, and I believe Tome rules actually make sense. Or even just using Core rules but with CR replacing HD.

It's not something that effects things to much, but it certainly creates a more logical world then the one where it's easier to know the specific abilities of a lich then it is to even identify a Big Elephant Zombie.
