Hello everyone. I recently came upon a website that sells a lot of out of print gaming stuff such as rpgs, ccgs, miniatures, etc. I was wondering, after going through the site a bit and remembering an old scrye I used to have, about a card game that emulated D&D (classes, combat, etc.). Was it ever made,  and if so, what was its' name? Also, if it was made, is it stillin print? Thanks everyone for any advice you can give.

Might you be talking about Warlord? It uses a lot of D&D's mechanics, particularly the use of a d20 to help determine success/failure.

For four years I followed Warlord very closely. I played in the Worlds and National tournaments three years in a row. I never won, but I became pretty competitive and still have a love for the game.

The forums lie here: www.temple-of-lore.com

I'm username MFLABIAS.

Things that make it similar to DnD:
You use d20's for almost everything
There is AC
There is to-hit bonuses
There are skills
There are feats
There are spells
There is initiative
A lot of the flavor content closely resembles DnD
Many other things

Right now would be a perfect time for you to start playing it, too. Phoenix Interactive (Pheonix Inferno's company) recently bought the game from AEG (a down-grade, company-wise, but eh) and there has been a reset on the formats. The new tournament format consists of only two card sets. You could also just play with all the cards made, like type I MTG. Anyway, hope this was helpful and if it is Warlord you were seeking or Warlord you find, good luck and have fun with it!

No problem Bhu. And, I guess it was Warlord. I remember seeing it a few years ago, and was interested in it, but there were not many players. Now, in my area, people are trying new things (because the flgs caters to video gamers now Mad) Everyone was like, "what is that card game that is similar to D&D, and I told them I would try to find out. Thanks guys. Now I am off to find some info on decent strategies for a noob to the world of Warlord:)
