None of which had as much impact as becoming a sandwich. That's the stuff of legends.
edit: +1 to Vidar's post, I guess. Except for a really, really sucky grapple modifier, or defense versus bites! On the upside, sandwiches do not need sleep. (They might need refrigeration, though.) Ah, but MY sandwich has toothpicks in them with olives on top. That way things will think twice before biting (or grappling). And refrigeration...endure elements will do.

Original idea involved becoming a sandwich. There was a pretty big thread at Failmax on how many better things you could become, including a working template for being Alphonse Elric.
I believe the original came from a thread to make the weakest character you could that had 20 levels, so turning into a Sandwich basically won. JaronK

It got an honorable mention, but couldn't win as no-one was sure as to whether they retained their mental stats and purely mental abilities. If it did, the powers of a Telepath 20 were much greater than the other entries. I think the winner had a variety of different Bestow Curse disabilities, dipped bad classes to lower his BAB and important saves, and so on.

I thought it was based off a joke. Something like a chicken salad sandwich. Maybe that was just the pun made in the post though.

Hmm, I thought it was decided that you were in fact just a Sandwich. And yes, the Chicken Slaad Sand Witch pun came from this sandwich. JaronK

Minor dirty trick: Play a druid. Craft a club or quarterstaff out of livewood (Eberron CS). Enchant it as a +1 sizing weapon. Get drawmij's instant summon or a similar effect on it. When things get rough, turn the club Colossal, drop it, then cast transport via plants. When you arrive at your destination, summon the stick after you. to a plant of the same kind in a single round How would that work? Is Livewood a species of plants? Would you only be able to transport to another Collossal Livewood +1 Sizing Quarterstaff? Livewood is a type of tree from Eberron which remains alive even when it is cut down and made into objects - dryads can live in livewood ships.

The Bardic Nuke.
Ingredients: Metamagic song, Inspire Courage, Inspirational Boost, Explosive Spell, and an alphorn.
Optional Ingredients: Subsonics, Animate Instrument, Persist Spell.
Cast Inspirational Boost, modified by Explosive Spell via Metamagic Song. Use an alphorn to start Inspire Courage, and designate as an "ally" anyone who hears your song, but yourself.
Watch as everyone in a 7-mile-radius explodes from hearing an alphorn.
Optionally, add Subsonics and Animate Instrument, and designate your targets as "no one". When you meet someone you wish to kill, designate that someone as an ally, and watch him blow up out of nowhere.

Inspirational Boost doesn't allow a Reflex save. You'll need the Snowcasting trick, which will screw up Persistent Spell until really high levels. Extra kudos for killing people by deciding they're your friend.

Snowcasting trick? I think it's "Use SC to add the cold descriptor, then use Energy Substitution if necessary before adding a metamagic which increases damage". For instance, Snowcasting+Energy Substitution (fire)+Searing Spell. I could be wrong.

For the amount of feats you need I'd call this less of an 'dirty trick' and more of an awesome one! Lots of feats invested ought to equal awesome with a axe .. err I mean horn. Still fun, want to build an NPC called the Frozen Heart. Never make him care. Good one Kuro

For instance, Snowcasting+Energy Substitution (fire)+Searing Spell. I could be wrong. Close, but not quite. Searing Spell doesn't add a save if there isn't one. Snowcasting -> Flash Frost -> Energy Substitution (Electricity) -> Born of the Three Thunders is the usual progression for a reflex save.

Human Bard with no flaws can nuke 1/day at 9th, but Persistent doesn't come off until 15th without flaws. With flaws, you can persist as soon as you can get everything; it's about 9th level.

I'd number it, but I don't know which number to use.
*in his best Shao Kahn voice*, "I win. Epicwinality". 1. Play as an Awakened Wolverine that wants to steal underpants. 2. Take Instantaneous Rage (cw) & Intimidating Rage(cw). 3. Profit!
How it works. 1. Wolverines get unlimited rages per day. 2. Instantaneous Rage lets you rage as a free action, which overrides the take damage requirement to the wolverine's ability. 3. Intimidating Rage works on a singe foe, not single encounter or single time against a foe. "You may only use this feat against a single foe in any particular encounter." As you can see, it don't even require word manipulation to say that either. 4. Have Greater Bestow Curse cast on your con setting it to 1, thus rage lasts 0 rounds. 4. Spam rage N times to spam N demoralize rolls on your turn against your chosen foe trapping them in the 3rd stage of fear (flee or cower) for the rest of the encounter.

Is it? Have Greater Bestow Curse cast on you then. 1 con = -5 bonus = rage lasts 0 rounds.
