Vala leads the group quickly in pursuit of their companion. She follows the trail that Sigrund left for her and strains as she tries to keep Sigrund within her scent range.
All she knew was that they were headed towards the shrieking. "Get ready..." She says aloud to no one in particular, and then continues on to the source of the noise.

As Vala and the others give chase, another shrieking responds to the first, this time clearly coming from an opposite direction in the forest. Almost immediately, the group stumbles into a clearing, directly behind Sigrud. As they stand in the clearing, straining their eyes in search of the creature that made the first noise, they notice the mist begin to seep out of the ground. In less than five seconds, the mist has reached chest level for the humans, and while it does not completely obscure the groups senses, it becomes clear how a less skilled group could become lost quickly in these woods.
A third shrieking comes from yet another direction in the jungle, and as the party turns towards it, they see something begin to emerge from the mist. A tall, human-like figure appears in the mist, slowly drawing closer.
Cue Skullz's entrance.
A skeleton falls out of the mist, all in pieces. Slowly they reform into a humanoid shape. It looks around. Fucking...Where hell am I? Wait, who are you? It remarks in what would be called a British accent. Two red dots appear in it's sockets, they flicker a bit a bit, giving the impression that he is trying to blink.

Rolled to hide: 1d20+18=36 She'd be flanking the main party about 30 ft away. From the tangle of thorns and bush a crossbow is drawn and sighted at this oddly speaking, quite likely evil apparition.

Sigrud's massive sword pops into his hand, but he holds, just for a moment. "That, sir, would be a question you would seem compelled to answer right now. Skeletal things aren't well known for their benovolence, I need a good reason not to dismember you right now."

Well, last thing I remember was speaking with Nerull about...something, then I saw a ball drop and squash a bug, which caused a bird to choose the bug on the window sill of a house, it then scared a sleeping girl, who then ran through the town screaming, causing a man to drop a bucket into a well, which disturbed some bats, which shook a cave, causing a rock to fall on my crypt, breaking a wand, opening a vortex to the Shadow Plane that pulled a trapped necromancer out, who then tried to teleport away but was distracted by a bat and accidently cast create undead on me. It says slowly, stroking its chin. So, in short, a series of events cause me to rise from the dead. No I remember! The skeleton bows, You can call me...um....Skullz

Sigrud shook his head, and the sword lowered to ground it's tip on the damp soil, raising the faint scent of burnt dirt, anything this confused was probably a threat only to himself. "No inexplicable urges to slay the living and feast on their souls?"[/i

"Just something the living dead are prone to." Sigrud makes no move to raise his weapon though, despite his serious tone, it seems like he was messing with Skullz. Some of the vegetation was beginning to smolder from the heat of the blade, as a streamer of smoke rose from the tip.

Nerie is quite put out that her companions are willing to trust this dead thing so easily, she can see where this is going, but it's not something she can sway. She will keep her distance and see the truth behind this Skullz creature herself. All this is conveyed by a, "Hmphh!"
