Say Strat, is there a list of Welsh names or translations or something I could use to come up with some ideas?

A few thoughts on new character concepts, tell me what you think:
I've never played a crusader all the way through, so maybe a Crusader20 would be fun. I've played Ruby Knight Vindicator a few times, and its' brokenly good, so I don't want to bring that into the party which seems to be around a nice tier 3 or so.
Another idea I could try out is a Sorceror/Spellthief, though I haven't decided which I would focus on more, the sorceror side or the spellthief side. I might even just go straight spellthief with this. This seems about right for this party dynamic.
I've never had a legitimate archer build, so I might go for an Incarnate of Chaos or Cleric based archer build (who knows, maybe I'll throw both in there for good measure). I'd be looking at something to do with either Ironsoul Forgemaster or with Sapphire Hierarch, though if I could fit Ur-Priest in there that'd be swell too.
Final idea is a Factotum/Chameleon a-la Ted the Enabler, because the build looks really really versatile, and I've always equated versatile to "fun." Although now that I think about it, the factotum/chameleon really would be better suited to the philosophers group. Maybe I could drop in there and see what they think.
Race for most of those would be Human, mainly because I hate level adjustments and I don't really like being small, except in very specific circumstances, min/maxery be damned! Obviously, Dwarf would be the optimal choice if I did an ironsoul forgemaster.

Ted the Enabler and a Crusader to take a few blows in melee so AC's beastie doesn't take all the punishment seem great for overall benefit, I'm not sure a Spellthief would be able to 'steal' enough in this campaign... But really, just play whichever character you think would be the most fun to play

Therein lies the problem: I don't know what I want . I'm leaning heavily towards either Ted or the Crusader, but the archer's still looking at me and I don't think that Ted would fit well into the pirate gang. If anything, he'd be sitting in the back sipping tea waiting to solve problems, or giggling with glee whenever we committed a crime... You know, that actually sounds like a load of fun! I wanna play the stuck up rich boy who just cut the cord! Thanks, Bowen! I'll start statting him up!

So we'll have two skill monkeys? Always nice to have someone who can compensate for the holes in areas of concentration everyone else has, plus Factotum's pretty cool anyway.
Before building Dez the Changeling Shapechanger (redundant, I know), I was heavily considering a Half-Drow Crusader build, since while I've had ok experience in building ToB characters, I've not once got to play one (Came close with Sinfire's Skies of Arcadia game, but that collapsed before we got to play). I'll definitely revisit the idea sometime in the future, though.

I proudly present to you: Gwynthyr Caradog. My research (google) indicates that his last name means "beloved" and his first name means Victor. He's a factotum Archer with Knowledge Devotion headed into Chameleon starting at level 8. He will be going for any of several build directions: Bonus Feat DMM shenanigans with ability boon, emulate class feature, and the factotum's turn undead abilities to persist buffs and be a cleric archer, or just good ol' archer with martial and arcane foci. He will also probably be the knowledge bank, due to his background of education, and he can trapfind and search because he has lived on the streets for a while. Backstory is that he was a stuck up rich kid and he left home to get some adventure. Still a little stuck up, but he's about to realize that he's made a very real mistake. By the way, I get to be way cooler than all of you, I call it.

I suppose your having the most important knowledge skills means I don't need to use the Shamanic Invocation ACF to get the Dragon Knowledge invocation at 5th level (You should try to get some Knowledge(Religion) too, so you can get Knowledge Devotion on Undead). Also, I think we'll rely on Mr. Unlucky to disable our traps (his bonuses to related skills are better), though being that he is technically... mentally unwell, he's more prone to randomness. He's been very reliable so far, though. The way I see it, Mister's slightly sneakier and better at trapfinding/disabling thanks to being part rogue, but your skills are somewhat more diverse, I think, and definitely good for the party. You're a much better Jack-of-all-Trades, , due to going all Factotum so far and with intent on going into Chameleon. Should be interesting to roleplay, too, the way you describe him. Can't wait to see how he catalyzes with the rest of the group.

Archer tag team Also, don't forget to give a thumbs up in the background every now and then EDIT: I just thought of something... Strat, I know you said no UA, but... Any chance of you allowing Cloistered Cleric? I'd love to fit in Knowledge Devotion for my character but I'm too feat starved and I really can't change my domains, so that extra Knowledge Domain would really help me out

Oh you're the trapfinder? More skillpoints! thanks. Do we often find ourselves facing undead? I was going to skip out on Religion because A we probably had a cleric and B religion applies ONLY to undead, but now I have more srkills so it's cool. Hmm... One more skill to max, what should it be?
And I note that your build is much better than mine, but I still refuse to touch Faerie Mysteries Initiate with an 11 foot pole.
EDIT: Actually, I'll go local, it seems like we'd encounter more humanoids than we would undeads. Although I could do a little bit of both. What's the ruling on Collector of Stories?

Collector of Stories gives a bonus to knowledge skills, right? I've allowed it before.
Cloistered Cleric is a no go.
As for undead, so far, no. Probably not for a little while, unless you bang into the cult of the damned/Marleath. By and large it will be the humanoid hill bandits.

I think that's all of them, if Bowen, Wood, and Venn all have sheets in place.

Venn: Hahah, it's okay, I was just kidding around. By the way, I get to be way cooler than all of you, I call it.
Sure, and Simell gets to feast on your character's innards. I call it. So there's 5 of us? or 6? I'm so confused... Wooden, Bowen, Venn, Ejo, and myself? Am I missing someone?

This should be fun! I don't know how the build is going to shape up, though. I have several potential directions: I could just take a fuckton of Font of Inspiration, or I could actually take archery feats. If I go archery feats, I see myself being either a volley archer or a Greater Manyshot focused build. If I go font of inspiration, I will have loads of standard actions... which would also be a greater manyshot build.
God, if only chameleon had a psionic focus.
