You know what sucks about 2 days of near-continuous partying? Yeah, nothing. At all.

I'm seeing a girl that gets horny when I make references to norse mythology. Who plays D&D, has just made me some clothes to go to ren faires with her. But, where has our beloved, mopey CountArioch gone? well, things aren't going that well, I'm going to get real with her about a couple things that are deal-breakers. I doubt I'll be mopey though.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

It's the truth. You can't be hungover if you remain drunk. I fought a hangover through the year of 2003

I had my Taiko performance yesterday. It scared me shitless-there were a TON of people-and I was exhausted when all was said and done. It was sorta fun in a scary, uncomfortable way. I'd do it again. Poor AC didn't like it. He sat for 7 hours in the heat while me and the rest of the people performing scurried about setting up things, taking things down, performing, socializing, etc. At least I got some yummy beer at the end of the night. And then kicked ass in some card game that I couldn't figure out... Fun times.

To quote George Carlin: "Bullshit, cornhole!" You're just not drinking enough. You know, I love Carlin and was upset when he died last year. I may not be drinking enough for a hangover, but I've certainly been drunk enough to deserve one. As long as I can keep that level of intoxication, I really don't want to cross the line into "what happened? who are you? and who the fuck am I, by the way?"-land.

Also, it was Dominion (with expansion), and you surprised everyone at the table, it was pretty funny.

Especially since all the Chinese people and Japanese people I've ever met (granted, not a huge sampling) hated the other nationality with a passion.
Can't wait until I get fully settled in my new job, I might be able to afford decent food again! That is going to be awesome. They have a Ethiopian restaurant in my town, I might go there on my first paycheck as a celebration.

Funny. I get nothing but our normal welfare and I eat once a week in the 8th best (according to our largest food and wine magazine, anyway) restaurant. 8 euros a meal there is quite nice.

That's not too bad. Restaurant food here tends to be fairly pricey, a decent plate of food runs the equivalent of 10-15 euro at a non fast-food chain, and an actual decent restaurant can cost considerably more. Not including alcohol. Typically, if you drink soda, tea, water, or coffee you can drink all you want for a small fee, alcohol is expensive. At least, by American standards.
