I think I have my money issues worked out. Let's hope I'm not a liar this time.

That´s no excuse Eh, perhaps. But I have enough women in my life right now, and I'm not a fan of the distance thing, nor do I like one night stands. That said, I was there again today (for the lamest racing EVER!) and one of them came up and hugged and thanked me for the night before... which REALLY through off the technician who was with me at the time. I explained that I'd rescued her and her friends using ninja vanishing tricks and left it at that. I find a little out of context confusion is good for people. So, you know, saving damsels in distress really does happen. JaronK

So, I get invited to go to a haunted house yesterday. Some Betas (fraternity), some Zetas (sorority), and a haunted house. I only bothered to go because I figured I should meet more zetas now that I'm single yet again. Anyways, even though I get ripped off on the trip I had figured that one of the zetas was worth checking into. I only got a first name though. I do a facebook search and can't really tell from any of the profile pics. Figure I'll ask one of the guys that knows her what her last name is when I get a chance. I forget to ask people when I'm over at the house today. When I check my facebook tonight I get a friend request. Sweetness.
Edit: Catholic-Good Reads-Good Three years older than me and I didn't notice it-Not sure if good or bad.

Do some of you have a real Best Friend? I mean, someone that, no matter the odds, you'll stay by his side, and bla bla bla?
Well, mine was away, back in his homeland, far to the windy north. And he's back! He's in town for a month, then he's off to England. On some weird job program, or something else.
He invited me, but I have no ideas how it works, so my decision isn't made yet, naturally.

In the VAST majority of cases Catholic means "I was raised catholic, but no longer practice"

I was raised catholic. That gives common ground. Common ground is good.

I had to make a shit-ton of phone calls to reactivate accounts/get access to shit online today and no call took over 5 minutes. That's a cause for celebration if I've ever heard one.

Doesn't that just make them hypocrites though? Not that most are not mind you, just that if they actually deserved that name they wouldn't be.
I never paid much attention to my own family's religion. It was one of the 'OVER 9,000!!!' flavors of about the same damn thing. I gave it as much credibility as I did Santa Claus - that is to say I didn't take it that seriously, but was self aware enough even at age 5 and below to realize it was in my best interest to play along as I got free stuff out of it that I might or might not get otherwise. Except I didn't get anything out of the religious thing, so no need to keep up the act. I'd have preferred the original Zelda on the NES. Or a book. Or something.

Of course it does. I don't see how you are surprised that something fundamentally illogical would allow hypocrisy.

Of course it does. I don't see how you are surprised that something fundamentally illogical would allow hypocrisy. I don't see why you assume this surprises me. I was stating it for your potential benefit. Not that it isn't pretty fucking obvious something inherently founded in delusion would come across as crazy.

Supposedly, extreme sexual repression makes catholic girls either loads of fun or no fun at all.
