I managed to track down some details on the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann movies, which manage to take things even further than the original. From the first movie, here's the remake of Simon's comeback scene (and here's the ending song). From the second movie, here's a pic of Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.  That's right, STTGL is a giant Kamina made of fire. With TTGL in his head.  Officially, it's three billion light-years tall. Apparently, the final scene has Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann spitting out Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann spitting out Chouginga Gurren Lagann spitting out Arc-Gurren-Lagann spitting out Gurren-Lagann throwing Lagann spitting out Simon who punches the Anti-Spiral in the face. |
