Somethingawful's RPG Art Thread Earlier in the thread someone was talking about Hunter: The Reckoning artwork. I looked for some examples on the internet but couldn't find any. That's a goddamn shame.Hunter was an awesome game. You were fragile mortals who had the full World of Darkness revealed to them. It was supposed to be a grim, brutal and horrific game. Nobody told the artists.       Apparently they really liked their bad-asses in sunglasses.   That last guy should be on every recruitment poster for every Hunter group. Ever. :colbert: OK, 2 things: 1) I have no idea what's going on in this picture. There's a cyber-zombie swordfighting female Erol Flynn?  2) This guy has no idea how boobs work. In my head the vampire is shrieking like a little girl.  Spiders? Monkeys? Baby?  I love this one because the douchey vampire in the background is about to get a face full of .357  Chun-li thighs ahead.  There was SOME good and evocative art for H:tR:   The next 3 require a little context: There is a hunter edge called Cleave which turns a mundane object into a deadly magical weapon. It's awesome.   And last but not least:  Goddamn werewolves need to get the hell off my lawn! |
