Well, I've always been more of a lurker, but part of me just really wants to join in on all of this and see what I can add. So I came up with The migration list! I figure that this should be where people post which threads they feel are the most important to bring over first. Sort of a to do list. -Felirc-

The Iron Siege...
On a more serious note, we might want to transfer in the most important and used class handbooks. Also, God's tools have been amazing as was CantripN's take on transmutation spells. We need those threads.

with TM20's permission, we should port over Playing God, the Spell School guides, and the newest handbook for each class. At the least.

Perhaps take this opportunity to consolidate God's Tools and other spell threads?

Or I could just move it over myself. I'm not leaving the WOTC community despite the recent developments - but I intend to hang out here P/T as well. Give me a few days though - this weekend is a long weekend up here in Canada - and it's family time for me. I can consolidate it all - and use some links as a table of contents Dictum Mortuum style. Soon as I figure out the interface Will need to alter my emoticon rating system too...

I feel like an idiot, I totally missed that you were here as well. Well yeah, whenever you have the time, those threads are great resources, along with your dissertation on focused specialists

Glad to see you here TM. The God Handbook is my single all time favorite CO post. It was informative, and funny as hell.

There's always the Incarnum Handbook/Incarnate by the Numbers threads. As well as the ToB Tips and Tricks threads. I don't think I've seen those come over yet.

The broken record is here ! Have you considered the CO Wiki ? It makes collaborative improvement easier, and ensures the guides are accessible even after their author has moved on. It can also make you 83% happier. Also:

I'm going to transfer my handbooks/threads from the CO boards here. I'll leave them there, but i probably won't update them, linking the revised threads here. However it's a painful process and exams are close, so i won't be able to do much soon.

On the plus side, we have spoilers now While you can't label the spoiler in the box, it's still a great start :wink

And it's not like naming the box by putting a little piece of text above it was that difficult. Changing everything is a bit harder a task though. If you need help with reformatting, contact me, Dictum.

Some day when I have free time, I'll try to update/redo my old Mastering the Summoned Monster guide. Until then, I'll at least try and bring it over here.

I am having trouble migrating the God thread. Several issues. 20,000 character limit means many more posts required. I'm having trouble with fonts as many I used in original are not available - also, color problems. I guess I could just migrate content - but I'm a bit picky on this stuff. So - effective immediately - if anyone would like to migrate any of my handbooks - you have my permission to do so (and even alter content if you wish). I ask a few things though: 1) I'm given credit at the beginning 2) A link be posted to the original 3) any changes you make to content are labelled as changes. As for Pictures, Fonts, Coloring, Spacing - change freely as required. Aparently, Alterpersona is Wiki'ing them - so they maybe don't need to be migrated here at all - unless you want them here, which is fine by me. 4E is close enough now that I won't be doing much 3.5 content or updates anymore anyways.

My single greatest contribution is my CO diary.
If you guys want me to, i can continue posting the episodes in here. It would give the chance to rename it.
Also, if logicninja would be willing to, maybe get the guide to being batman and update it a bit?
The tome of battle for dummies is an INCREDIBLY helpful tool, if davethemagicweasel is around here, maybe he'd like to port it, if not, i would do it with his authorisation.
