Sounds a lot like the Grindhouse twin-feature they did recently. Y'know - the one with Rose McGowan and the machine gun leg? After seeing that movie, I seriously thought about buying a tiny bike, just for the awesome factor.

Just recently saw Four Rooms, a combo-movie, partly directed by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez! The movie was split into four segments, each directed by a different director. The first two weren't that great, but as it is often so, Rodriguez and Tarantino were great. Not sure how many of you have seen it, but it is one of their more obscure movies, so I thought I'd bring it up. Definetly a good movie to see, if you can tolerate the beginning. Won't say anymore, don't want to spoil it.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?
Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Oh I saw Hellboy 2 today. It was good there was a little dead spot in the middle of no action, but pretty good. There was one scene when the golden army rose that just screamed DnD to me...ummm it was kinda funny to see abe and hellboy get a little drunk...It just seemed to be lacking. Don't get me wrong it was good and there were some sick action sequences in the movie, just not as much as the previews made it look like there would be. It also seemed to hint at some remorse Hellboy started to have for killing mythical creatures and a growing hate towards humanity, but it was never fully fleshed out and kinda left you a little curious about it and frustrated that it didn't get more attention or detail.

i saw hellboy 2 friday, i think its on par with the first one, my only criticism was the volume was excessive...
i thought the end, where liz does the thing to that thing, after hellboys comment about power, was too easy.

I think Hellboy II was better for me as a comedy than as an action film. I mean, yeah the Prince Nuada fights were action-tastic, but my favorite parts were the drunken song and Krauss talking in general.

I wanted to see Dark Knight but it was sold out so we went to see Hellboy II instead.
It had its moments. Just wish it had gone cheesy/funny or stayed away from it, and didn't mix the two.

I got a text from a friend that said something to the affect of "Bring a jizz rag with you to this movie", so you're not alone PI. I want to see it so badly

I saw The Mummy 3.
Bad.
Not Power Glove bad, but just bad.
It could be a great movie if it wasn't the Van Helsing effect; Too much action in a short lapse of time without any frickin pause.
I had fun, but I didn't feel that thrilled.

Saw dark knight last week. It had the greatest potential of all movies I have ever seen. It bypassed anything I could have thought of in the atrocities the (spoiler for idiots) Joker (Spoiler over, if you were shocked, go back to kindergarden). The big problem was Harvey Dent and his plot-line. Sal Maronie (or some italian name) vs. Harvey Dent. Had the full potential of a Law and Order: SVU episode. Any Batman reader will expect the plot twist near the end of the middle. After that point, the movie is bogged down by things like "morals" and "hope". I am not saying that batman shouldn't have these, but the writers seriously stressed this to the limit. The movie was good when Harvey Dent and the mob were not in the scene. The fights between batman and Joker proved to be the best of the movie, and the movie was very good. It just had the attachment of an unnecessary plot-line that undermined the experience for me. I also saw hellboy II, again great potential, but sadly, bad execution. The plot provided an annoying bridge between the lame action scenes. The greatest plot opportunity was There were two good parts of the movie 1. The final fight(s) 2. Also saw Halloween (I watched WAY too many movies this month). It was the greatest horror movie I have ever seen...EVER. EVER!

Yeah I saw the Mummy 3...**insert puke smilee**. Maybe I thought it was worse than it realy was because I intended to see pineapple express and I was the only person with ID so I was the only one of my friends allowed in. So we went and saw the Mummy. There was alot of action (that wasn't particularly good at any point minus the yeti) and no plot line, Hell I'm not sure if the dragon emporer (Jet Li) got more than 3 lines. That said there were a handfull of cool parts, mainly the yeti, one booby trap and the dragon emporer ripping his face off and throwing it at someone. And three small parts that may add up to 5min does not make a movie.

Saw Wanted. You better avoid it Really? I enjoyed Wanted. Good action flick. The plot was absolutely silly, but the action and CG were quite solid.
