Insight, Perception/Stealth, Dungeoneering (difficult)  any or all of those should work

Perception has to be rolled with stealth

"Dangerous as it might be to search, he's probably in one of the more permanent buildings.  I don't see a piece of canvas serving well as a prison."

23 Dungeoneering. Also, I have no idea what kind of flavor text would go along with this.

Carric slowly, cautiously, invisibly circles the camp, looking for any signs of prisoners or guards.
He successfully circumnavigates the area without being detected, but saw no sign or a prisoner tent or any stationary guards for that matter.

Carric's got good vision, but the haze of smoke and the vastness of the camp made it impossible to see all of it from the outside.
However, that leaves only a small area around the center unlooked-over.  That area also contains most of the actual structures of the villiage.

It is reaching into mid-afternoon when Carric returns, and I'd like everyone to make a Nature check.

Shortly after Carric returns, both he and Telchar notice a few signature cloud formations in the sky.

If experience is any indicator, it is probably going to rain by this time tomorrow; hard...

"Why you're right, that does look like a storm.  That also looks like something else, gentlemen..." Darius smirks, staring toward the clouds.  "...Victory"

"The rain should help considerably... it'll be hard for them to notice the escape if they can't hear over the storm. Or see, for that matter..."

"You've got a point.  How's this for a plan: There's a lot of buildings in there, and we have to be fast.  There's six of us, so we'll break into three teams.  One to handle infiltration, the other to provide muscle if needed.  So...

Telchar, you're with Carric.
Skaar, you're with Doriavan.
Lyam, you're with me.

The rain'll give us some cover, but it'll also make it very easy to track us afterward.  We only get one chance at this, gentlemen... let's not squander it."
Darius eyes the group.  "This sound like a plan?"

Skarrandar nods, nudging Doriavan with his elbow.  "Divine Explosion Squad?"

"Works for me. We should probably rest up so we're ready for when the storm hits."

A dwarf and an elf... This seems familiar!

As night starts to fall, you all start to get ready for an anxious night of waiting.
You find a well-hidden place to sleep and gather plenty of branches and leaves for camouflage and comfort.

As you are about to "tuck-in" for the night, Lyam comes crashing into your makeshift camp and motions for all of you to quietly come look at something.

Whatever he's seen, he looks frightened.

Give me a perception check, please.
