Q573Air gnomes "have the general traits of air races described above and all gnome racial traits, with additions and exceptions as noted below." Since the gnome entry also includes forest gnomes, does this mean I can be a forest air gnome?

Hood - My first answer to all your build questions; past, present, and future. Speaking of which: Don't even need TO for this. Any decent Hood build, especially one with Celerity, one-rounds [Azathoth, the most powerful greater deity from d20 Cthulu]. Does it bug anyone else that we've reached the point where characters who can obliterate a greater deity in one round are considered "decent?"

I don't see many DMs having a problem with it, but by RaW, it's air race traits tacked onto the standard (PHB) gnome, then modified as specified in the 'Air Gnome' entry.

Q574: Is there any item that actually grants the Two-Weapon Fighting-feat (not just the benefits; trying to qualify for Double Wand Wielder without burning two feats here)?

A574: Just as you cannot qualify for Combat Expertise by casting Cat's Grace, you cannot qualify for TWF using an item. Mind though, that this rule ("Prerequisites must be more or equally permanent and inherent than the benefit.") is not written anywhere and thus us not RAW per se. In any case, such item doesn't exist.

According to the FAQ, you can qualify for feats/PrCs with temporary boosts, but when you don't have the prerequisite you don't have the benefit of that feat or any feat or PrC that depended on that feat as a prerequisite. So you can find yourself a level 20 commoner half the time if you aren't under the influence of a spell/have your item/whatever.

A574try this: Gloves of the Balanced Hands(MIC) 8000gp..... gives TWF, if you already have TWF, you get Improved TWF

Q575 Is there an easy way to get "access to the law domain" for the Saphire Hieromphant PrC if I want to combine it with Ur-Priest?

A575: Would Contemplative do it? You'll have to wait till level 11, so it might be a little late...

Character A is wearing Steadfast Boots and has the Knockback feat. Character B charges at A.
Q576: Can A use Knockback on the double damage set attack he's entitled to?
Q577: Is the set attack resolved before or after Character B's attack?

Hey, if someone want's to rely on something that can be stolen, destroyed, suppressed or dispelled that's their problem I'm fairly sure I'm going to have to account for dispelling anyways; the character is an Artificer and all (Wands being dispelled/destroyed/stolen would be far worse anyways...although the thief better be damn skilled and immune to divination or he's so f*cking dead). And Dual Wand Wielder isn't exactly that useful in an AMF anyways, so I'm not too worried Thanks Carnivore, that does it nicely, and doesn't even cost anything to boot.

There, I'd have to dip arcane spellcasting... not exactly what I want to do... but it does fulfill the req... Any way to get low (no) level arcane casting for this w/o spending a level?

I believe there's a feat from forgotten realms that, unlike similar feats, actually gives you the ability to cast two cantrips a day. Can't remember what it's called, probably only can be taken at first level. EDIT: Magical training, FRCS. Cast dancing lights, daze, mage hand each 1/day. The mage hand is moderately useful for pulling levers and stuff.

Bump Q 566:Warforged Juggernauts become immune to "necromancy effects." What exactly does this include? All spells from the Necromancy school? What about the energy drain of a vampire?
I've done some more digging into this, and the best I can come up with is that it is all Necromancy spells, as well as any effect that specifically calls out that it is a necromancy/necromantic effect, such as a Ghost's frightful moan ability. It would not, however, include things like a vampire's energy drain, as it isn't specified as being a necromancy effect, either in the MM or the DMG. Would anyone disagree with that?

Sandstorm does have such a metamagic feat (+1).
