Q 428
Other than *shudder* Favored Soul, are there any Cha-based spellcasting classes with access to the Cleric or Druid lists? If yes, what and where are they?
Q 429
Where's the Hummingbird familiar from?
A 428 With the dynamic priest feat mentioned above, Spirit Shaman qualifies. (It 1/2 qualifies without) Best, David

Some Cool Quotes: Non-PC activities like out of combat healing should be left to wands and NPCs. It's not fun to play a walking wand of CLW. Likewise, being a combat wall is not a viable PC role. A Wall of Force could do that.
-Sort of, but you left out the important note that a Wall of Force does it better. The most powerful character is the one that you actually get to play. I often have to remind people not to underrate divination. The ability to effectively metagame without actually metagaming beats the ability to set things on fire more times than not. Thanks for your answers
If you go by the strick reading of what can be stored in a spell storing weapon then Lesser orbs cannot (they have line in the description with an effect, but not one that says target). Melf's Unicorn Arrow can be put in a spell storing weapon.

A429 Supposedly Dragon 323 has the hummingbird familiar.

My balancing 3.5 compendiumElemental mage test gameQuotesIt is a shame stupidity isn't painful. Totally true. Historians believe that most past civilizations would have endured for centuries longer if they had successfully determined Batman's alignment. Why are so many posts on the board the equivalent of " Dear Dr. Crotch, I keep punching myself in the crotch, and my groin hurts... what should I do? How can I make my groin stop hurting?" I suggest carving "Don't be a dick" into him with a knife. A dull, rusty knife. A dull, rusty, bent, flaming knife. Fluffy: It's over Steve! I've got the high ground! Steve: You underestimate my power! Fluffy: Don't try it, Steve! Steve: *charges* Fluffy: *three critical strikes* Steve: **** I don't even stat out commoners. Commoner = corpse that just isn't a zombie. Yet. When I think "Old Testament Boots of Peace" I think of a paladin curb-stomping an orc and screaming "Your death brings peace to this land!" Buy a small country. Or Pelor. Both are good investments.

Q437: Are there any feats or 1- or 2-level dips (other than Contemplative and Sovereign Speaker) that allow a divine caster access to a domain spell list?
I'm looking for some way to add some extra domain goodness to an Ur-Priest...

A437While not domains there are series of Initiate feats (mainly in MAgic of Faerun and Races of Destiny) that add a list of around 4-5 spells to your cleric's spell list. You can find a list here: http://forums.gleemax.com/showpost.php?p=4924992#post4924992 it seems to be a bit dated so I don't know if there's anything newer out there.

Wouldn't you get the attack when you tripped them, not after they moved?

"If you trip an opponent in melee combat, you immediately get a melee attack against that opponent as if you hadn’t used your attack for the trip attempt."
It seems (though I guess it could be open to interpretation but that window seems rather narrow) that the attack follows after the trip is completed.

You have a point, though it boils down to whether they meant that you get the attack immediately as in immediately after, or immediately as in at the same time.

The way I read it, as soon as the trip attempt is determined as either a success or failure, the attack happens.

I basically see things as this: when you tripped the guy, you tripped him so hard you broke something.

I meant mechanically. If you want to talk flavor, I imagine tripping the guy and getting a lightning-fast swing of the weapon before he hits the ground.

Problem being, in this case flavor actually influences mechanics. I could see things going either way with the rules as written. As a general rule, though, the extra attack in question cannot be replaced by, say, a grapple.

Woah loads of replies. Thanks. Another though:
Q439 Are there any ways for a monk to get through damage reduction/epic with his natural attacks, ie enchant them, magic item, etc.
Thanks again

A439: the weapon abilities Trasmuting and Shadowstriking (ToM, not MiC...I may have spelled it wrong because there's Shadowstriking and Shadow Strike, one's ignore DR and the other is a few rounds per day strike touch AC I believe), epic VoP, Improved Ki Strike, epic AoMF. Only the first two are worth it. Get them on a Necklace of Natural Attacks. See my monk's handbook for more.
