Q 428
Other than *shudder* Favored Soul, are there any Cha-based spellcasting classes with access to the Cleric or Druid lists? If yes, what and where are they?
Q 429
Where's the Hummingbird familiar from?

A 428
There's also Shugenja, although it receives only part of the Cleric's spell list. It's also in Complete Divine.

Q430: Supposing a character under the effect of both Fire Shield and Resist Energy suffers Fire damage, which spell would take effect first? What about Protection from Energy + Fire Shield?

A 428 Generic spellcasters in Unearthed Arcana (also SRD) could work, assuming you get them allowed.

A 428: You may also want to take a look at the feat Dynamic Priest from Dragonlance: Legend of the Twins. It will make your primary spellcasting stat for a chosen divine class be Charisma* for everything except Save DCs.
*(there's another feat in there that does the same except using Int)

A430: Fire Shield would apply before both of them. Energy resistance and DR apply on damage actually taken, which is why protection from energy and energy resistance had to be explicitly ordered that way. Resist/Protection from Energy would also apply after improved evasion or damp power or something like that.

Q431 I don't have my books handy. How many XP points are required to reach levels 19, 20 and 21?

A431: 1000xlevel.
That's what it requires to go from one level to the next, right? So the total XP for 2nd level is 3000, for example?

From the level you're on it takes 1000xyour current ECL to level up. So a level 1 character requires 1000, and a level 9 character requires 9000. PHB page 22 has the table. To reach 3rd level you need to get 3000 xp total. I think you're both right, you just phrased it in a way the other didn't understand.

Q432: Suppose you have the Battle Jump feat, a warhorse, a lance, and a sufficiently high modifier for both Ride and Jump (say, +12, or something).
You command your horse to charge, then Leap (DC 15). At the height of your horse's leap, you use a free action to Fast Dismount (DC 20) and jump off your horse's back (a move action).
Question A) How is the Jump check resolved? We all know it's a move action, but what is the DC you'd need to, say, leap out of your horse and still meet the necessary height for Battle Jump on a Medium-sized creature? Are you considered to have had a running start?
Question B) Would the Battle Jump and the charge stack?

A433: Experimentally, over 100,000 single stat generations using 4d6, reroll 1s, drop the lowest the average point-buy value for each individual stat is 6.23 for a point buy equivalent of 37.38 over 6 stats.

I've started a new Gish and I'm contemplating taking the feat Born of the Three Thunders, I have 3 questions in regard to using this feat.
Q434 Can you apply metamagic to a cantrip? If it is a 0 level adjustment metamagic does it remain a cantrip? I want to apply Bot3t to the cantrip 'Sonic Snap' from SpC.
Q435 Can spells with metamagics applied be stored in a spell storing weapon, like an energy substituted Combust (SpC)? Can this be done as long as the modified spell would not use a spell level greater than what you can normally put into a spell storing weapon?
Q436 Are there any spells from cantrip up to 3rd level that do damage, have a 'Target' but do not allow spell resistance?
Thanks for reading!

A434 Yes, and yes. So you can.
A435 I would imagine so. The weapon description doesn't say either way, but the ring version of spell storing explicitly allows metamagic'd spells.

Both the orb spells and Melf's require ranged touch attacks. I was presuming he was that specific for a reason. If not, then Ice Knife also has a ranged attack roll, but with a huge (+caster level) attack bonus.
