assemble a sphere around a floating head type creature: a vargouille (or however those are spelled), a beholder, your friendly neighborhood demi-lich, etc., a hypnotic pattern and/or dancing lights later and you can prove that disco never dies.

Deploy then en masse around your psicrystal. It now effectively has Mirror Image.
Put illusions of yourself on them. Now you have mirror image too.

Dangle strings, feathers or toy mice from them and give them to your cat.

Give them to the nearest commoner so they can use them as a magical loom for their craft: basketweaving checks.

Burn all the microfiche! Firebomb all the 8-tracks! I'm not just a druid -- I'm a singing, dancing, Broadway druid. "You... saved me? So I was dismantled? I... thank you, then. I will not incinerate you."
There's only one character concept worth having, and that's the one you've thrown darts at.

Cheap magical sling-stones. They might not have an enhancement bonus, but they should still overcome DR/magic.

DR/magic requires an enhancement bonus. Make it look like a useful ioun stone so it can act as a decoy for real ones.

Use them to detect invisible enemies but casting continual flame on a bunch and then tossing them in squares you've heard movement in at about head level. Then attack where the orbiting light is.

Glue blades to it, invent a Saw-style trap involving hugging your Animal Companion.
Use it, then write a thesis why when floating three feet from your head you don't lose it for walking in doorways.
Cast Permanent Invisibility on it, and promptly forget you own one.
Also; Cast Energy Substituted(electricity) Explosive Runes on it, Shapechange into Shambling Mound and Dispel as needed.

I don't think Energy Sub: Electricity works on Explosive Runes, but you can use Glyph of Warding to create portable magic traps! Anyone that passes a square occupied by the Glyph of Warding gets hit with something nasty. Exclude yourself from the effect, of course.

You know there is quite a few Glyph spells, each one would be pretty handy on a stone.

just make sure they don't face inward...
give them to a two-headed creature, release them right between the two to create a Schrodinger's cat effect....
