PrC Requirements: BAB +4 Concentration 8 Craft Magic Arms and Armor (requires caster level 5...) Turn Undead Can't be a Paladin of any flavor
What is the absolute earliest you could reach these requirements? I'd love to see some builds reaching these requirements.
The PrC is mostly self-contained and only advances Turn Undead, BAB, and saves, so it doesn't really matter what the classes are as long as they meet prereqs. I would really love to be able to take the class at 6th level if it's possible, though ToB is about the only thing banned.
The party role is mostly just to be filler, because the main party roles are already handled. I'm mostly just experimenting with builds and really want to get into this PrC as early as possible.

Cleric 6 Has a BAB of +4 Concentration is a class skill; 8 points by lv 5 At this level, earliest possible, can take craft magic arms and armor Has turn undead by level 1. Is what a paladin wants to be.
Unless you can get the turn undead and a bonus feat at lv 5, this is the earliest feat-wise you can do it. So you'd enter by 7.
What, pray tell, is this PrC you are aiming towards? Because at cleric 6, there's a lot of good you can do. Hell, there's a lot of good if you wanna go cleric 20 or PrC out starting at ecl 6.

What is the PrC? We don't know what is important for the PrC to advance. These can be attained for entry at level 2; but, that is surely not what you are looking for.
EDIT: you beat me to that question

Single-classed? Otherwise Cleric 4/Crusader 1 is pretty good.

well, all full bab classes can make it work. if you like wands, ranger comes to my mind. if you don't want to be a divine caster you could try sacred exorcist, which of course takes you longer to get into the prestige class (level 9 at the earliest).

I was considering Dragonwrought Desert Kobold with a flaw to take Craft Magic Arms & Armor. Just grab up the Dragonblood Cleric 9 substitution level.
You know, just saying.

That is valid RAW IIRC, but every time I hear about it, I throw up a little in my mouth

How? Seems like BAB +4 requires at least level 4 Seems like Concentration 8 requires at least level 5 (assuming that's 8 ranks, and not a +8 bonus) Not saying your wrong, I'd just like to see how to do it

You take the cleric 9 substitution level, because "dragons" can ignore prereqs on anything that requires the dragonblood subtype as a prereq. This grants you the BAB of a 9th level cleric. I'm not sure how he's bypassing the Conc ranks.

How? Seems like BAB +4 requires at least level 4 Seems like Concentration 8 requires at least level 5 (assuming that's 8 ranks, and not a +8 bonus) Not saying your wrong, I'd just like to see how to do it It uses the absurdly cheesy interpretation (which is technically RAW) from Races of the Dragon that states that creatures of the Dragon type automatically qualify for anything that requires the Dragonblood suptype. Not that the Dragon doesn't need the Dragonblood subtype to qualify, but that they automatically qualify, even if the other pre-reqs aren't met. So, normally the pre-req to take Dragonblood Cleric 9 is 8 levels of Cleric, but as Dragonwrought Kobold (Dragon type) can take that level of Cleric 9 and suddenly have BAB, saves, and spellcasting of a 9th-level Cleric (assuming you don't use the fractional BAB & Saves system). That said, I don't think that works 100% in this case. You meet most of them, but I think you still just have 1 HD, so your skill cap is still just 4 ranks for a class skill.

yea, but with the spellcasting of a 9th level cleric, couldn't you used the dusk giant skill ranks trick? Edit: I mean, obviously if we're going to that level of stupid cheese.

You still need to have 5 caster levels to qualify for craft magic arms and armor. So earliest entry is after six, not using cheese, so that you both get the BAB +4 and the CL 5. Unless there's a full bab full casting base class that gets turning, then you could enter at six.

The way it's worded, you only have the casting of a 1st level Cleric (because you're casting is based on number of Cleric levels, and you have only 1). It's only the BAB and saves that get insane. But I don't see a way around the skill ranks. Best you can do is 5 levels of other stuff, there's a way to get 1 extra rank but not more than that IIRC. JaronK

+1 bab class Favored and Primary Contact feats to get Conc 1 level early Needs a +1 CL boost (on something) to take Craft A&A early so that's ~4 feat slots with managing ... and Turning.
That Dragonblood thing needs a solid write up.

Practiced Spellcaster takes care of the CL in a non-cheesy way.
