To do: Needs sorting and organizing. Some links are undoubtedly in the wrong sections, I'm sure.
A few of the base classes don't fit neatly into the categories I currently have. Currently, Artificer and Dragon Shaman are in the "Other" category.
The other sections still need to be organized.

The Handbook Compilation Handbook
All you'll ever need to make your own handbook compilation

So, you want to make your own handbook compilation? Well, you've come to the right place. I'll be listing the various options you have for your handbook compilations and rating them. Red means a poor choice, black means an average or unexceptional choice, and blue indicates a good choice. Bold means a particularly good or bad options, something to do if it's at all possible or something to avoid unless there are no other options.

Ability Scores
Work: Making a handbook compilation isn't a lot of work, but it's still some. Don't dump Work, but you don't need to put a lot into it, either.
Time: This is the SAD thing about handbook compilations, that most of what you need to put in is Time to copy everything into one big list.
Effort: It takes a bit of effort to do this, just like everything else worthwhile. Put whatever points you have left over into Effort, and keep it at least at 12 regardless.
Insight: Dump stat. Other then the usual uses, you don't need any insight to just compile a list. If you want to get fancy put things in organization classes later on, you may need a few points here to meet the OrC's requirements with your puny 2 + Ins categories per level.
Understanding: As always, it helps to know what you're doing, but you don't need a deep Understanding to make a handbook compilation.
Wit: It's a list. It's supposed to be bland and utilitarian.

Joke under construction.

From a quick read through I only saw two obvious mistakes, meldshaper is spelled wrong in the Base Classes section and there are two meldshaper sections under Prestige Classes. Nice job, this is much more readable than Tshern's thread.

Edit: You might consider adding things like the Tier system thread under a Meta-concepts category.

I think this list is a compilation of handbooks we have in this subforum, for easy navigation.

Stickied. Maybe the name should be changed though - for a second I thought this was a handbook on writing handbooks. "Handbook Index"?

Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.

I was considering writing a joking handbook for compiling lists of handbooks for a while, but clarity is better.

This very day I was compiling a general list of all the best that we have to offer here. I am quite pleased that you beat me to it!

Surely you would not be upset if I linked this on my Obsidian Portal page would you?

There was no missing involved.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Actually, I have it saved and had in mind to update & post it somewhen, but I kind of lost interest out of boredom. I may try again though (I mean, trying again at being interested by this little project).

Hood - My first answer to all your build questions; past, present, and future.

Speaking of which:
Don't even need TO for this.  Any decent Hood build, especially one with Celerity, one-rounds [Azathoth, the most powerful greater deity from d20 Cthulu].
Does it bug anyone else that we've reached the point where characters who can obliterate a greater deity in one round are considered "decent?"

I think this one is missing, it's carnivore's pixie handbook: http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19871070/The_Pixie_Handbook?pg=1

Cool btw the paladin build compendium I started is mentioned... maybe it's better to place it in the handbook section of this forum. Is something like that possible, should I contact an administrator about it?

Apparently, there's a thread for it.

Could this get moved to handbooks?
Alright.  Do I have to PM a moderator or something?
Yep, it's as easy as just sending Prime32 a message.
I started a thread for this, you know. Sad
