((i replied to you phae in the OOC thread. so i have been waiting for our initiative rolls from everyone, but i noticed today on Archus' facebook he mentioned flying down to Blizzcon. So Im guessing he will not be updating for awhile. still need a initiative roll from castren.)) Galron leads the party down the tunnel towards the sounds. As you draw closer you can hear the sounds of tool work clearly, the wagon or cart you had heard stops. The party comes around a bend in the tunnel and can see 5 figures standing in the darkness. 4 of them are skeletons with picks and mining equipment, they are digging at the walls. The 5th is a robed figure pushing the cart. As the party rounds the corner the robed figure looks up to greet you. His face looks rotten, his skin has boils and patches completely missing. Obviously some sort of undead, in a raspy voice barely above a whisper he says " Ahh these must be the fools M'Lady is telling the lord about. " he gives a airy sounding laugh before he continues. " By all means young fools, advance past me to your death. I bear you no ill will, and respectfully request you do not end my undeath " The corpse smiles at your party. The stench coming from him is almost unbearable. The old corpse pushes the cart to a side and steps out of your way. He raises his hands infront of him in a 'im unarmed, please spare me' sort of fashion. ((free actions))

I didn't come all this way to SPARE the undead. He wants to "continue his undeath"?! Bullshit! Tell that to the murdered townfolk that we came to avenge. This bastard and all his friends are toast!Brett advances and attacks the undead corpse without much pause.

In a flash Brett leaps forward and makes short work of the robed figure and the two nearest skeleton's. ((free actions, 2 more skeles. they are mindless though and on mineral gathering mode ))

Galron says "You could have at least asked him what was ahead before destroying him... He seemed talkative enough, and it seems he didn't hurt your lady friend that passed this way before us."

"Forgive me, but we have been hunting this evil for almost a week and the destruction in their wake is appalling. There is nothing that can save them from my blade." Brett waits for the party to restore the marching order to continue.

Galron says somewhat dejectedly "Nothing to forgive... I certainly understand letting bloodlust get the best of you..."

"Bloodlust against the undead?....I'm ok with that." Brett seems to look at something off in the distance, he looks to be argueing with himself under his breath. Shaking it off, "Shall we continue? After you."

((making this rather quick))
After continuing down the corridors for awhile the party eventually makes it's way into sections that are starting to seem less natural and more constructed. Galron follows his nose tracking TLS through the tunnels. Soon the party pops out into a large auditorium styled room(very large), the walls are ornately decorated with pictures of the hero's of light. The rooms lit by ever-burning torches scattered around on the walls. In the center of the room you see a large statue of the Hero's. The entire hero party is immortalized in a bronze center piece. You can see tools and various things laying around the area, there is 4 different passages out of here. The greenish mist seems to be present here as well, it stands about 4 inches thick. It seems to be seeping in through the ceiling and running down onto the floor.
((since archus is probly still very very afk i will RP this out for him.)) The old grounds keeper gasps with surprise. " It looks like these fiends, are after the Artifacts of old. Its doubtful they could solve the riddles of the complex.. but if they were to find any of the items stored here it could be very bad for us. " The grounds keeper walks over to the statue of the hero's and for a brief moment pays his respects. He stands and turns to regard the party once more " The complex is somewhat small, but it was built to deceive.. I doubt any traps are left standing with all these undead roaming around, but we must tread carefully." He pets the large wolf accompanying him and then readies his equipment.
((actions?))

Felisia responds to Archus and the party at large "It should be kept in mind that I specialize in divinations. If we need to evaluate a course of action or determine what is in adjoining rooms, I can be of help."

"That's good to know, m'lady. I'm good at sniffing out enemies and traps, and can dig tunnels big enough for us to walk through in seconds. What about the rest of you? I've seen a couple of ye are pretty good in a scrap, at least."

Castren rises from his position, " My talents lay mostly in combat, I bind spells into my arrows, among other things." Castren reaches into his pouch and pulls out a vial of oil which he begins applying to the joints of his armour. " I'm going to scout ahead, I'll return if I encounter any foes." Applied Oil of Silent Movement (+10 Silent Move) Hide: 1d20+27=34Silent Move: 1d20+19=24Castren moves ahead, careful not to be spotted. Listen: 1d20+14=22

" My skills are mostly killing things...you may have noticed by now...I'm also fairly good at scouting ahead and dungeoneering for the most part. I think I'll give Castren a hand and scout out this other corridor. "

"Before we split up, let me monitor everyone with this spell." Felisia casts status on the two going down the other direction and on Aurix [only three targets at this level].
