Castren curses as the arrows are deflected and Brett is dealt a brutal blow. Taking careful aim (Precise Shot) Castren sidesteps quickly and launches two arrows (one imbued) into the assailant.

Castren's Precise Shot feat allows him to hit an enemy regardless of cover unless he's behind a wall or the like.
hit 1 and 2:1d20+14=34, 1d20+14=34

Arrow 1: 1d10+4=13, 2d6=6 (Make a Fort save DC: 16)
Arrow 2: 1d10+4=10, 2d6=3

Brett - Castren
Brett throws his daggers into the right leg of the stranger. He grunts in pain as the blade burys deep into the muscle. His iron grip is still around you though and it doesnt seem to be lightening.
Castren straifs around and fires two deadly shots at the man holding his friend. His aim is true, the arrows streak within milimeters of Bretts head to strike the man behind him. The first arrow takes the mans ear off, the second grazes his check severing it into two halves. He screams in pain, gritting through his teeth he says  "Ahhhhhhhhhhh! You arrogant bastards. Do you really think you can win? The hero's are gone. Jaspris will take the throne to your 'empire of light'. Your pathetic ideologys of good and evil dont have a place in this realm. This is purgatory, we are all the damned here, and I will help Jaspris turn this world to stone if theres even a hint of escape." He growls and pushes Brett towards Castren, the anklets he is wearing flash red.
He appears behind castren. Glass gauntlet already poised to come crashing down onto his skull.
atk/dmg/grpl (1d20+22=31, 1d6+12=14, 1d20+28=31) He slams down hard onto the the back side of Castren. Both of you can hear bones crack as the hit connects. It knocks the wind out of you and almost crumples you down to the floor, it takes all of your strength to not be flattened into the ground beneath you. He quickly grabs onto you, squeezing tightly against your sternum. It feels like your caught in a vault door closing, the pain of the sharp glass combined with his monstrous strength is something you havent experienced before.
As the light hits his face Brett can see the wounds on his face slowly closing. He grins devilishly at you Brett as he whispers into Castrens ear. "Are you praying yet?"
((your turns, both of you go ahead and make some knowledge checks, arcana/spellcraft and a local dc-20 each))

Galron
You step forward and shred the two poor fools scrambling for the bag under your feet. You see Skullface grab onto his cloak and in a red ploom of smoke hes vanished. The remaining 6 robed figures all start to dash away into the two tunnels in the back.((the dead ends))
You hear a loud scream of pain coming from the main tunnel where you saw a figure run out to earlier.
((go))

((Will do another update after work, OMW out the door. zane and josh idk where david is.. i guess lets keep continueing without him until he posts again. i sent him a msg on fb he hasent got back to me.))

Knowledge Local DC-20 (1d20+8=23)

Brett watches the wounds begin to seal up around this creatues wounds with no expression. Pulling his swords to the ready (free action), Brett prepares to defend Castren and rid the world of this creature no matter the cost.

Knowing the weak ones are fleeing into a dead end, the giant badger sniffs the air, trying to detect the foe that vanished, knowing that he's the more dangerous prey.

Is Skullface still there, but invisible? Or really gone? I should be able to detect him within at least 30 feet via Scent. If he detects him, Galron will  pinpoint (move action), use Sudden Leap to close the distance, then attack him.

mountain hammer attack (ignores DR/hardness) (1d20+15=16, 3d6+13=26)

Bah, another natural 1...

Edit: If Skullface really isn't there, I guess my guy will follow one of the groups that headed toward the dead ends. Also, is Galron's equipment laying around anywhere that he sees?

Castren gasps as the claw pierces his chest, the burning pain shooting through him as he attempts to work himself free.

MINERVA! HE IS NEAR! HELP ME!

Minerva projects a Magic Circle against Evil, giving me +2 to all of my rolls against him (assuming he's evil  ) and ejecting him if he's an outsider, if not then it's just the +2.

Attempts to break grapple (fails horribly): 1d20+8=10 +2 = 12 -_-

Galron
You can hear the people that ran starting to pray from the back of the tunnels when they find its a dead end. You also hear shouting and the sounds of battle coming from the main tunnel leading out.
((skullface is actually gone. all these wizys that are left are only 1st level, if you want to RP it out we can. otherwise I will assume you track them down and massacre them without any real trouble. You DO see/smell your equipment in the pile that you were standing on. The wiz groups stuff is also there, afew scrolls etc. Its your turn.

Brett - Castren
Brett lunges forward striking with his sword. The man tries to manuever Castren into harms way but fails. The first two strikes with your sword hit hard, shattering chunks off of his glass arm. Your third strike seems to glance off the spikey glass.
((your knowledge check. you remember hearing of a man who appeared in the mists in Sithicus. The neighboring domain to the east. Apparently this man was made of glass, and completely immune to all magic... You think you have found him.))
Castren you squirm and try to wriggle free with no success. You do manage to dodge Bretts incoming strikes however. The brute continues to crush you against his body, he also assualts your cranium with his the gauntlet on his right arm. He smashes you hard enough that you momentarily see stars, dmg (1d6+12=15) he then pushes you towards Brett and begins to run towards the exit of the tunnel.
((no attack roll needed since your grappled. free 5ft step due to items, and a full move action puts him 35' away. taking him out of your LoS. your turns.))

Phae, Jordan, Zane, Josh, any rules lawyers.
((is hiding a free action? just had a guy run down the hall after attacking. can he his if not in line of sight? ))

Archus - Aurix - Felisia
Your poor the water on her face but she doesnt seem to respond. Worse yet the old codger groundskeeper seems to be in another trance. He is stairing at the stars lightly chuckling to him self.
((btw, calling david tmrw to see if hes going to post or what.. so zane/josh please standby Big Grin or feel free to in character talk.
your turns))

I tear off a strip of my shirt, soak it in the cold water, then put it on the kid's head. After that I turn to Felisia and say, "Alas, the little maiden wakes not. Milady, are you sure that she is well? Or perhaps you could try to rouse her, as I have no skill in the healer's arts. I have been blessed with the ability to heal myself or others of just heart in the chaos of battle, but my powers heed my call only when my blood burns with the heat of battle, so they are of no use here."

P.S.You can hide as part of a move if you are not being observed, so if he ran around a corner or behind something, he can hide. On the other hand, they will have seen him go around the corner or behind said cover, so even if they can't find him it's fairly obvious where he is.
P.P.S. I'm debating drawing a mustache on Archus while he stares off into the sky.

(( Hide my ass.  I just watched him RUN, following him with my ELVEN eyes.  The shadows will do little good.  I will roll if you want me to however, but I want ++'s ))

(( EDIT - Whoops))
Brett feels no pity as he reaches behind for his glowing axe and hefts it at his assailant.  It flies through the air, returning in a flash and is launched again with a seamless motion.

( Full Round Attack )
Attack Rolls (1d20+20-2=23, 1d20+15-2=16)
...(( I don't even want to roll damage or trip unless, somehow, they hit. ))

(( In case you want a Spot Check ))

(( I just figured out what LoS is  So I suppose I should modify my action. ))

( Revised Action )
Brett can't see the assailant anymore, but knows he could catch him if we wanted to.   The heat of battle still flows in his veins, but the blood loss is catching up to him.  He sinks to one knee and hold his axe at the ready ( Hold Action ) is case he makes another attempt at an assault.

Castren, are you ok?  I'm really getting sick of these guys getting away.

(( btw, did the daggers that I impaled into his leg drop out somewhere? maybe when he teleported.... ))

Hiding is done as part of movement, but it is practically impossible to hide and attack in the same round (-20 penalty). Moving faster than half-speed also incurs a further -5 penalty. Running incurs a -20. At least that's how I read it... I don't see why those penalties wouldn't stack:
Quote
You can move up to one-half your normal speed and hide at no penalty. When moving at a speed greater than one-half but less than your normal speed, you take a -5 penalty. It’s practically impossible (-20 penalty) to hide while attacking, running or charging.

Detecting that his foe has truly fled, and hearing the weak ones praying in fear, Galron decides to see if worthy prey awaits in the hallway where he heard the sounds of combat.

Move down the hallway towards the sounds of combat.

Although realistically... he's a raging were-dire-badger... and he was injured by those weenie wizards... So I think he would probably just go slaughter them.

when you have some one grappled you can make a natural attack without needing a role, he already has a hold of you and made his grapple check.. how ever if you are grappled it doesnt work like that.

feel free to slaughter the wizards hiding in the tunnels. pretty sure you cant even get exp for them though they are all 1st level, so i just didnt want to have to go round by round on them. id rather save time  if you want to kill them you can we just wont really make all the rolls and stuff.

((Nah. We can question them later...

For the grappling... I don't want to start an argument or anything, but the guy at least has to use the "deal damage" option under grappling, which requires him to make an opposed grapple check. He doesn't get to do it "for free". It takes the place of a normal attack. He would have dealt damage when he started the grapple too, though. Is that what that damage is from? (I used to really love grappling, and have played a bunch of grapple-focused PCs...) Alternatively, you can attack with light melee weapons while grappling without making an opposed grapple check, but you take a -4 to your attack rolls.))

Does Galron see anything down the hallway where the combat sounds were coming from? I don't know how far away it was.

Archus blinks for a moment, and turns to address the others with him.

Many apologies. . .  I believe the presence of another touched by Bahamut is disorienting me, it has been so long since I have felt the Astral Sea.  Get the girl up, I will check ahead a bit to make sure we don't have any unexpected company.

Archus moves up to the first bend or intersection in the tunnel,  and will peek around the corner to make sure there is no advancing signs of trouble.

Spot and Listen checks of +4 each, however the dice roller seems to be down right now.

[My character's going to start worrying pretty soon here about Archus' mini-strokes, lol. Tyson, this is reminding me of Evan's character: "You wake up with your head in a trough."]

Responding to Aurix, "I don't know. Normally I give people time to recover from the shock, but as we're pressed for time, I could try this." She casts a lesser restoration [DM discretion as to whether that would do anything, though it would probably be the most appropriate spell if any spell were appropriate].

Felisia begins to follow Archus into the tunnel. "Do any of us have a light? I don't think we should go too far into the tunnel without one."
