Just curious how many of you are using this. I'm using it quite a bit more than I ever used Facebook.

Got invited to it the other day. So far only 3 people I know use it, so it's not much of a blast.

Using it. I keep it open next to my facebook tab. So far the most useful thing I've found with it has been the sparks as it is a themed news feed. I really enjoy the concept of circles, but they need to get more people I know into it before I can genuinely say how useful it will be, though once populated I see this easily replacing facebook.
One huge complaint is you can't use it with a google apps account. Since my primary email is through a domain that is hosted on google apps I can't use that email to sign up for it. It makes it a pain in the ass. I also couldn't get my regular gmail to work for it, I think something is corrupted in that account as it behaves strangely, so I ended up reactivating a yahoo account and using that for my G+.

I don't have a lot of contacts in it yet, either. I do like the interface quite a bit more, as well as the circles. I think I use it more than Facebook because I can limit publicity easier. I don't always want to share with all my Facebook friends, but I can choose people in G+. Maybe its just the shiny new toy syndrome, I don't know. For now, I enjoy it more than I ever did Facebook.

+1 I just joined G+ yesterday, so I haven't really had time to even look around in it. I loathe facebook. So it has to be better... I also am happy that it integrates with Picasa, which I use regularly.

I like this, because I use a lot of them: Docs, Reader, Picasa, News, Calendar, etc. etc. Eventually, it could get so far as being a life tool more than a social network. Let's say, for example, you throw all your D&D group members into a circle. You all have busy lives, and sometimes it's hard to schedule a session. Instead, you send out a call for a session, and Google automatically searches calendars and gives suggestions for session dates. You have already posted the house rules in a Google Doc, and any photos you take are automatically uploaded and shared with the participants. This is just one example, but the applications are almost endless.

Yeah, say goodbye to paid services. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Google Apps business accounts able to break the 10 person limit when they are incorporated into the service.

Let's see if we can get Google+ to work as a tabletop platform for people who are geographically too far away from each other to gather at a real table.

Still tricky I think, text chat has advantages in that respect.
