Q221: If one becomes immune to the effects of taint, such as being undead or having the evil subtype, do they still gain the bonus feats?(If Undead I'd say they can get at most two from depravity, since they have no CON score to base corruption of)
IIRC, the phrasing is Evil subtype creatures and undead are "immune to any negative effects from taint."  That's not a *negative* effect.

q223 Is there any binder vestige which would increase the shadow reality of a Shadowcraft Mage?

What bonus feats? Taint doesn't give feats.

It is on page 67 of Heroes of Horror, and is unlisted in the table of contents (for your convenience).

Q224: I'm trying to figure out what the Sanctified One prestige class actually does.  Medium BAB, Only 2 levels of spellcasting, three weird abilities.  What does this class even do?
Q225: The errata for Complete Champion mentions that Spontaneous Divination can only be used on spells you know.  Is this something people are aware of and ignore?
Q226: Does Strength Devotion give you a Slam Attack all the time, and the use relates to overcoming Hardness?  Or does using the ability give both abilities?

And from Page 27:

Q160:  This isn't the first time this has been asked, it's not even the first time this has been asked by me, and yes I used the Search function but all the answers seemed incomplete.  What do the feats Rapidstrike and Improved Rapidstrike actually DO.  At the risk of someone getting upset about copyright, here's the relevant part of Rapidstrike

"Benefit: If you have a pair of natural weapons, such as
two claws, two wings, or two slams, you can make one extra
attack with one of those weapons at a –5 penalty. "

Which implies to me that if you had Claw +0/Claw +0, you now have Claw +0/Claw +0/Claw -5, because it says you make one extra attack with one of those weapons, which seems to mean one of the pair.  Alternatively, it means you make one extra attack with all of the claws you have, which I think is how some of the searchfu I found said people do.  I just only see gaining one attack.  Halp.

Here's Imp. Rapidstrike (in part)

"Benefit: If you have a pair of natural weapons, such as two
claws, two wings, or two slams, you can make two or more
extra attacks with one of those weapons, the first at a –5
penalty and the second and subsequent attacks at an addi-
tional –5, but never more than four extra attacks."

And honestly I have NO idea what this does.  This one must mean one of those weapons, you get two or more extra attacks.  What determines how many you make?  Why?

Q161: The Dragon Tail soulmeld from Dragon Magic, says you form a tail and can attack with it as a standard action.  Is there anything other than common sense that allows you to work it in to a full attack routine?  It might possibly function like certain maneuvers allowing it to be only used by itself I guess.

Q162:  Do soulmelds shaped by the Shape Soulmeld feat count against your soulmelds granted by your class?  I think the answer is no, but I'm just verifying.

In my humble opinion, CO is haberdashery. Some say we're mad, but we can all agree we're hatters. Yes, we have potential to make very sophisticated hats, very fancy hats, be they dark or light. But the truth is that the color of the hat does not come from the group of us - our community doesn't directly produce hats. We simply give average head circumferences, list current fashion trends, and point out some shiny, obscure baubles to add to the latest hat line.

Q211
Does the spectral hand provoke AoO when moving from the caster to creature with reach?
I think so, but it's incorporeal.  Unless they're attacking with a magic weapon, it doesn't even matter.

It can only be attributable to human error.

Q225: The errata for Complete Champion mentions that Spontaneous Divination can only be used on spells you know.  Is this something people are aware of and ignore?

A225: I think most people are aware of it, and it depends on your DM, the class feature is still quite good either way. Basicly you just end up having to spend more money with the errata and you cannot access out of class spells.

Q226: Does Strength Devotion give you a Slam Attack all the time, and the use relates to overcoming Hardness?  Or does using the ability give both abilities?

A226:I think a close reading of the feat states that the uses per day are for the ability to ignore hardness, the natural attack is all the time. That may not be how the feat was intended due to the odd wording but that it how it reads to me.

A161: The people who wrote MoI and Dragon Magic did not know how natural attacks work, as written you can only make one attack as a standard action, which keeps it from being used in a maneuver.

That's how it reads to me.  I found some people saying otherwise, but I can't figure out why that would be the case.  Various sources cited that it would be overpowered to read it that way, but I'm not sure that's relevant.  I personally like things that make melee better! And there's still an attack penalty.  Really I don't see the problem.

I was afraid of that.  Hopefully I can get my DM to intervene.

Q210: What is the generally agreed upon interaction between Iron Heart Surge and AMF? Been looking for it for some time.

There's two, and both interpretations are valid since IHS is freaking vague.

1) The user of IHS is now unaffected by that AMF, but the AMF is still there to haunt others.
2) AMF goes "poof!" and is totally negated. Etc.
IIRC, 2 is the response given in official Q&A.
What exactly can or can’t iron heart surge (ToB 68)
remove?
Instantaneous effects can’t be removed by iron heart surge.
However, any effect with a duration of 1 or more rounds,
including permanent-duration spells or effects, can be removed
by iron heart surge, nor does iron heart surge restore damage or
ability drain.
Iron heart surge doesn’t replace lost levels (though it would
remove any negative levels resulting from a single spell or
effect). It would neutralize a single poison coursing through
your system, or a single disease that afflicted you.

Hmm, I guess so.

So that means you can turn off the sun with IHS

Technically I think you'd just turn off the 'day', not the 'sun', so it'd be back in 24 hours.

But if you have light sensitivity or get sun-burned, it is the sun(s) doing it, not the "day"

Well, I should say the effect is 'sunlight', and that has a duration of 12 hoursish, depending on locatoin.

Many vampire-wannabes are still waiting for Kuro to do this. I, for one, am glad he isn't light-sensitive.

Also, you can IHS summonses out because they're threatening you for AoO purposes, attacking you, or flanking.

Exhausted

An exhausted character moves at half speed and takes a -6 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. After 1 hour of complete rest, an exhausted character becomes fatigued. A fatigued character becomes exhausted by doing something else that would normally cause fatigue.

Fatigued

A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a -2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. Doing anything that would normally cause fatigue causes the fatigued character to become exhausted. After 8 hours of complete rest, fatigued characters are no longer fatigued.

Q 196: So, an exhausted character can run and charge?

(granted, minus the run feat, a run or charge while exhausted would just have you moving as fast as you could while fatigued)

True, but you also get poison use, death attack, and a +4 racial bonus on Hide/Move Silently while getting a comparable sneak attack progression to what you'd get with four levels. It's not a terrible loss, especially if you buy off the level adjustment.
