@BruceLeeroy You misremember, the section in PGtF just explains how knowledge(local) and the regions interact, it says nothing about being able to get the feat without coming from the region.
@BruceLeeroy: Aharon's wrong. Races of Faerun says (on page 5) a character can take regional feats from a different region if they spend 2 ranks on knowledge(local). So yeah.

IIRC, the Unapproachable East book says the same thing, but it's only quasi-3.5. Wasn't Races of Faerun 3.0? So PGtF would be the latter source, in that case, and also for UE.

Q 40 Where can I find variant mimics? I've heard that there's a grave mimic (pretends to be a gravestone).

Q 42 Does a cleric with prestie paladin levels to get the mount then has the holy mount feat takes beast master does that all stack to give him divine caster level +3 for paladin and divine caster level +3 for druid levels (also with the devoted tracker feat) the +3 are because both prestige paladin and beastmaster offer a +3 to their perspective animals

That Local thing is only in 3.0 FR books. They completely redid how regions work for 3.5 (see the PGtF intro on regions), and that is no longer the case. Regional feats are only valid at first level, now, among other things.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.
Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH! Behind door number 2: A magic crown! Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY! They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.
Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.
Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time. I give you much fu. Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky, Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die, One for the Wizard on his dark throne In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Q43: Does anyone have links to some of the tests on FAQ's consistency? I recall seeing a few where the same question was asked at different times and got contradicting answers.

I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle. The book doesn't even exist! Quotes: By yes, she means no.
That explains so much about my life. hiicantcomeupwithacharacterthatisntaghostwhyisthatamijustretardedorsomething
Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea. If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit. See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere.

Q45: Is it possible to cast two instances of the same spell, and maintain concentration on them? Could I cast minor/major image twice? If I could, would concentration checks be required?
Thanks

Not familiar with Beast Master, but PrC Paladin + Holy Mount can indeed get you divine caster level +3 for mount levels. JaronK

For the purposes of prestige classes like Blood Magus & Tainted Sorcerer does a vampire technically have access to blood to use their class abilities?

A39 I don't know of any "real" way to do so, but the spell Bite of the King, Gluttony/Hunger 8, Spell Compendium, allows you to put someone in a pocket dimension with a successful touch attack. It's worse than real Swallowing, as it allows a fort save and SR.
