Kitty is pretty much ready to rock. Just need to clean up the thing and make a statblock. If TML still needs guest starring opportunities, surely there is a chance for a run-in at the Life Ball. Lots of pimpin' costumes and jewellery to steal there - alternatively, Arsene comes from exactly the sort of family that might get an invitation.

I just wasn't sure. Your post on the first page and the rotes a page or so back are all I remembered.

I think that's it... oh, SMF ate my crossover. That sucks. It was something along the lines of: Arsene goes to the Life Ball as himself on a family invitation, only to recognize that there's a massive convoluted theft going on, which he has to try to thwart incognito. It works, but then the situation changes into Die Hard.

Okay, so we still need Venn to finish and an aspect or two from TML.
If possible, could you guys edit your first posts in this topic so they have everything in one place? We could start a new topic if it would be neater.

Sorry, sorry, hectic life right now. I will absolutely try and get this character done this weekend. I wonder, is there enough info in there for you to just start the game and have me fill in the rest, assuming the game won't be moving fast enough for me to need what's missing? Or are we starting 'in the shit' so to speak?

Funny you should ask. I was toying with the idea of starting in medias res and, after a certain point, going into a flashback sequence to let you explain how you got there. It kind of smacks of railroading, though, so if I do drop you guys in the fire there won't be backtracking.

It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. At 2:15, it begins rolling up characters."
"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~" -Ibuki Suika, on overkill

Another game I'm in started that way. Some of the "frying pan" moments are vague enough that they might be the PC's forward-thinking plans or actual lethal danger. It can work out well, if played out properly.

Sorry, my family kind of hijacked my weekend (and my brother coming home just about hijacked my computer). Work will resume on the character.... now.

Feel free to throw in Arsene stealing an Apollo moonrock as one of the crossovers.

Could always just fill in the essentials and do the rest on the fly, as described in the book.

Got most of the essentials down now, and posted in the Sheets thread.
Still needed: Guest Starring aspects, Focus/Enchanted Items and other possessions, and some Rote spells for easy reference.

I'll make Arsene a guest star in yours, if it's OK First Adventure - Precious Mettle - When Leo Berenson sets out to master Magic the 'natural way,' as his mentor puts it, he quite literally gets more than he bargained for when he unwittingly makes a deal with a devious Wyldfae Lord- known to some as a Leprechaun. The Wizard-in-Training must retrieve a powerful relic recently stolen from the Leprechaun himself, but while he must not only face the one who stole the relic in order to earn his freedom, he must also race against the clock while an increasingly painful curse threatens to consume him. Deciding it takes a thief to catch a thief, he seeks out the elusive Red Phantom, whose competence is only matched by his disdain for "amateur hour" competition. Aspect:I'm the best, and I'll prove it! Also, your soulgaze seems busted. Soulgaze [-1] : You naturally have Armor: 1 and two additional boxes of physical stress capacity.

Also, yes, feel free to guest star in that story.
