Hmm, a special magic lens to focus my light rays into deadly, precision death-lasers...  Plotting

The MagiTech system turns spells into anyone can use magic items. A Lightning gun is a gun that uses lightning bolt. A Jetpack is an Item of fly (or uses Create thrust found in the Magitech system, but that is very hard to control).
I could probably find a spell that improves precision, but that's about it (unless the light rays count as fire, then raging flame would work.)

Also, this is able to make, not has made or will make very soon. He can get short lived temporary versions right now, but that's about it.

To be honest, I was just hoping for something that adds bonus damage onto attacks. Wink

Do the rays count as Natural weapons? Because that the difference between Using Greater Magic fang (1 hour/level, scaling bonus) and using critical Strike (1 round, weaker bonus).

Light Rays are ranged Touch Attacks that are (Ex), overcome any DR, and can be used as iterative attacks. They don't really need any boosting, but I would never say no to it. Big Grin

They're neither classified as weapon attacks or as natural weapons, but they are (Ex) attacks available as part of the Ghaele's natural form while in globe form (and thus match the description of natural weapons: "Natural weapons are weapons that are physically a part of a creature."); however, there aren't any natural ranged weapons listed in the DMG/SRD list of natural weapons (though certain creatures, such as a manticore, might qualify) and natural weapons can't be used as iterative attacks from having a high BAB (though neither can the original Ghaele creature use their's as such).

It's kind of a gray area, and so it's up to each DM to determine. It definitely benefits from any effects that affect "attacks" or "damage" when such effects don't specify as being from a natural or manufactured weapon, but anything else is up to the DM.

Well, I'm about to restart classes, begin co-chairing a club I'm part of, have a new part-time job to go along with my full-time school, and my car needs repairs that cost almost as much as it's worth. I hate to do this, but I'm going to have to step out of the game for a bit - I just don't have the mental energy to spare for now. I plan on continuing to watch it, and may be able to rejoin after I've gotten an actual routine down (including having fully moved into my apartment and decided what to do about my car) if ya'll are cool with that.

Sorry for this, but it's been great fun so far.

How about I just have you spend some time training in the temple visiting your young ward?  Lets you pop back in whenever you want.

I'm going to be out of town this weekend, but should still have connectivity. I should be able to post, but likely with delays.
