I just got a job as an assistant on a study in field ecology from the first of august until the eighteenth (finally something worth adding to my CV Big Grin), this will require some travelling and I am not yet sure what this will do to my internet access. I'll return with more info

Edit: I will be granted access to a free wifi, all is well.

I'm getting Savorel updated, but I'm about to take my only vacation of the year. I'll try and play when I can, but otherwise, just NPC Savorel or assume she's off tending to other, extremely important, duties. Sorry again, guys. I thought I was going to have more time this summer . . .

How would you determine the price of an use-activated magical item, something like a "Robe of Animate Undead" with a 1/day use, when its material component cost fluctuates?
I'm not sure about the prices of runestaves, but maybe one of those for Animate Undead?

What's the cost limit again?

I'd suggest giving the actual item a slight discount in that case, and make it dependent on having material components on-hand.
Actually, maybe just increase the cost by the maximum material component cost. (assuming level 20 is the max level you'll get to, and assume no help by CL-boosting items or abilities, that's 40 max hd of undead x 25 component cost per HD = 1000gp extra)

a lil over 20k

use activated or continuous is caster level x spell level x 2000 GP

charges per day: Divide by (5 divided by number of charges per day)

I'm gtg, though I might not be on as often as usual. My apartment got broken into. Comp got stolen, as well as a few other light electronic items, window smashed, etc. Anywho, had to dig out my old 2005 desktop (which is too old to play sc2 properly...) to post. Sorry for the lateness.

Actually, playing a ghost has turned out less effective than I planned. Resurrection suddenly seems a good idea.
Could I take this route and trade the planned items (and my bracers of armor) for 4 more embedded shards (1 power link, 1 sustainer [removes need for food and drink], and 2 of Ectoplamic armor [+2 Armor each, stack up to +10]) The crystals work out to 21.500 gp, and overlap my 1000 gp bracers of armor.

Could I also shift some stats around, now that Con and Str are more important?
I dumped Con due to not needing it, and embedded shards have a 1 HP cost each, for a end result of 1d4-2 Hp per level.

Also, is the telepathy ACF from here allowed?

As okay as my cripplingly decaying macro-skills allow for. I'm not gonna be able to play a ladder game for so long after I get a new comp...

Thank you.

Buy adding 6 points to con (4 from CHA, 1 From Wis, 1 from 4 HD) and gaining 4 HD, I have gained 8 hp.
