apparently there is a bit of a party waiting for everyone.  They have a couple of oxen roasting.  A lot of the people you've met are there, even deputies.  And several people you havent, including a town council member or two, and some local merchants and others who are level headed enough to realize you've saved them from what would be a pretty nasty problem or two.  Clubby is also there to deliver the paperwork on your housing request.  And get some food

Bill makes sure to great all of his new friends, making sure to hide the pain from the hug. Still not used to his commotion, Bill doesn't do a lot of talking. He makes up for this by listening and eating a lot.
