Round 12 Results!Kel Moving from cover to cover, Kel quickly steps behind a plasteel container. Squad 2 The oncoming squad continues to work their way closer. The two stormtroopers in the lead open fire midstride; Bathew! Bathew! Both bolts flying far wide, their intended targets unidentifiable. Corran Corran rushes out of cover, trying to advance as quickly as possible. He shoots a bolt at the nearest stormtrooper, less concerned about actually hitting and more just trying to advance. Silten Silten follows Corran, keeping his laser pistol out but giving up on hitting anything for the moment. Rald "To hell with this!" the khil snarls as he hefts up his "patient" and charges forwards, hoping to get through the line before reinforcements come. ST10&9 The two remaining stormtroopers lay down a hail of fire in your direction. Aimed mostly at Amon who is hauling around one of their dead bretherin as a macabre shield... Brrrraaaap! Brrrraaaap!Seela "Ready to go?"Seela says to Jerran and spins around the crate she is hiding behind and picks up speed as she passes between the two dug in Stormtroopers. Jerran "Lead the way." Jerran follows Seela, doing as she does. Amon Dashing forward trying to keep his corpse shield between him and most of the incoming fire, he clears the troopers and trys to keep up with the rest of the group. Bystanders More bystanders seek to remove themselves from the area. Either moving to find different cover, or looking for solace behind the oncoming stormtrooper squad. If yes to the above question: Kel rushes past the last two enemies toward the turbolifts. If no: Kel moves forward to get a clear shot at one of the stormtroopers.

Rald focuses out the blaster fire around him, keeps his head down and Maya held tight, and keeps running towards the turbo-lifts.

Corran runs as fast as he can towards the turbolifts, trying his best to avoid the hostile stormtrooper ahead.

As Corran zips past the the stormtrooper at a full run, the trooper reverses his hold on his carbine and attempts to slam Corran with the butt end.... 15. Seela speeds up to a sprint to the turbolift bank and moves to hit the button so everyone can pile in. Laser fire from the oncoming pursuing stormtroopers burns the air around you as you make your dash for safety. They all charge across the promenade in pursuit. Maya's head is lolling about semi consciously as she bobs around in Ralds straining arms.

Looking worriedly down at Maya, Rald looks over to Seela, "I need to do some serious work on her, likely surgery. I need a quiet place to lay low for at least several hours, and I need it soon."

"We can try and make for my quarters, I am not sure if it's going to be watched by the time we arrive. Does anyone else have a more quiet spot?" Seela askes of the rest of the group.

"I haven't been on this station long, but I think that remaining here is possibly in our worst interests. They likely have descriptions of all of us regardless of who was shooting at whom, and you're kind of high profile. If someone isn't headed to your quarters already, I assume it won't take them long. Problem is, there's only so much room on this space station, they're going to find us eventually even if we stay low." Jerran doesn't exactly seem to be exuding confidence in the situation at the moment. He knew some other force-sensitive was headed for the station from the planet below, but he couldn't risk telling the group how he knew it. He didn't even know if it was bad news, so it wouldn't do much good, though he didn't expect it was going to make this day any easier.

I live here. Well lived here. Follow me I know where we can go that you will have a relatively good space to perform your surgery. Amon will lead them to one of the station's escape pods.
At worst we can fire this off and make our way to the planet to find a possible ship there. Do we have a plan for getting off of this station?

As you step off the turbolift, you can hear the sounds of another squad of stormtroopers nearing the area. You must hurry to make your escape complete. You all must make it to Amon's quarters at Halfway to the Galaxy. You need to avoid patrols and station security in doing so. This is a Skill Challenge. Each round of turns will be 10 minutes to allow enough time for some of the longer skill uses. During each round every PC/NPC in the group will make a stealth check to avoid patrols. Plus each party member can either use a skill or other ability to aid others or gain successes.
Suggested Primary Skills Primary skills can gain you successes. Below are suggested skill uses. Feel free to come up with your own uses or potentially unlisted skills that you feel might work as a primary or secondary skill. Perception - Find side passages, hiding spots, keeping a lookout for squads of Stormtroopers or BSF. Stealth - Avoiding surveillance, troopers, and security by hiding or moving without notice. Each of the PC's in the group makes a Stealth Check. Use Computer (One success only) - Allows you access to the security movements, shut down security cameras, mess with their communications. Use the Force - Through sensing the force and determining which actions may prove beneficial you can help choose the correct routes o take and avoid any imperial entanglements.
Suggested Secondary Skills Secondary skills may provide benefits to the party's skill rolls for that round. Mechanics - Jam doors, open locks, mess with security cams, and such to make pursuit more difficult. Deception - Create diversions, use disguises, and such to aid in your escape. Use Computer - Continued access to determine security movements, shut down security cameras, mess with their communications. This could help the party.
Not sure how familiar everyone is with Skill Challenges so for this one I provided suggested uses for the suggested skills. If you want to try a skill not on the list for something let me know and we can determine if it would lead to a success or help the party out in some way. Maya is likely going to need assistance, she is pretty far down the condition track.
Feel free to have over the table discussions in the Cantina thread to help coordinate who is doing what in the challenge. You can post in whatever order. Include your checks the skill or ability your using along with the round's stealth check in a spoiler block. I will recap the round similarly to combat to keep things clear. Escape the Promenade Begins!

As the turbolift doors close behind them, Kel sheathes his pistol, and grabs his repeating blaster again. He looks worriedly at the wounded woman: Can she make it until we find a ship out of here?

"She should, be we need to be quick. If I can tend to some of her worst injuries, she should be able to pull through. She'll probably need all of our help depending on how stealthy we need to be." Rald, determined the human won't die while under his protection, decides to keep his eyes peeled and his ears alert as the party moves along. As the turbolifts near their stop, he shifts Maya to a more comfortable position, one that will help him keep his balance and move more quietly. Stealth, Perception: 1d20+1=21, 1d20+7=25. Rald will start off by trying to lend his eyes and ears towards discerning pursuit as the party moves forward. Hey, those are actually pretty good rolls

The doors slide open and you all move off deeper into the station. Rald's and Amon's good eyes and eyes manage to pick out two nearby patrols searching this particular level. Jerran reaches into the force, letting it be his guide and finds a good path around one patrol as it closes in. You have spotted several security cam droids as you move about. You feel their net still has plenty of holes you might slip through. Still as you stay on the run you have shouts never far away and booted footsteps pounding from either behind or in front of you more often than not.

Wiat a minute, I've got an idea... Kel asks his comrades as he kneels next to a maintenance computer console and starts hitting the keyboard ...that should give the bucketheads a few headaches. No more wireless or cam droids for them, at least for a while. Now let's hurry.
