I created two Psionic Vestiges, for the soul purpose of allowing one of my character's Psicrystal to use it sense it has Bind Vestige.
The Astral Echo
(Level 1st, Binding DC 18)
Symbol
Three wavy horizontal lines passing through a curved vertical line to the right
Legend
No one is sure where The Astral Echo came from, or even exactly what it is. Some say it is the remnants of the minds of dead gods, their bits of thought, left over inside the astral plane after their demise, gathered together into a semi-sentient being. Other believe it is the remnants of Astral Constructs, given will from the psionic energy that once formed them. Whatever the case, the existence has a strong connection to the Astral Plane, and the psionic forces that exist within it.
Special Requirement
The Astral Echo can only show itself to those able to mold it into shape. It is not that it will not show itself, it is that it cannot, for without one to mold it, the Astral Echo will fall apart into clumps of Ectoplasm and dissipate. Anyone wishing to bind The Astral Echo must have at least 1 ranks in Craft(Sculpting).
Manifestation
When Summoned, The Astral Echo appears as a clump of Ectoplasm within it’s circle. The summoner must then shape the Ectoplasm as he sees fit. When the summoner finishes, the molded sculpture springs to life. It does not speak, only making low moans. Even so, the summoner instinctively understands what it trying to converse.
Sign
Your skin is unnaturally smooth and glossy, as if made of Ectoplasm.

You grow quiet and do not speak unless absolutely necessary. Your Emotions dull, and you become uncaring and dull, lack of any will or energy. You act subservient to others unless there goals contradict yours of lead you to harm.

Rubeus, Shattered Psicrystal of Arete
(Level 3rd, Binding DC 22)
Symbol
A Red Diamond with four long, needle like points.
Legend
Rubeus was once long ago the Psicrystal to Arete, the First Elan, a fellow Vestige sort of speak. As It’s master was reborn time and time again, Rubeus ceased to exist again and again, as It’s master lost his psionic powers. But as Arete attempted to regain his power over and over, each time Rubeus would be reborn as well, only to cease to exist soon after. Being merely a fragment of Its master personality, so too did Rubeus become a Vestige. This however was as much a Blessing as it was a curse at least, as now Rubeus could exist separate from Its master. Even so, the trauma of being destroyed a thousand times over did not leave Rubeus untouched, twisting It’s mind into an infinite amount of Fragments from Its thousands of lives.
Manifestation
When Summoned, Rubeus appears as a shattered ruby, then reassembles itself into a Boulder Size Ruby, with six points, shaped in perfect geometry. It speech is erratic, as Its personality changes by the moment, each fragmented part of itself struggling to have itself heard.
Sign
You grow small red gemstones across your body of various sizes, and your teeth change into a set of Rubies as well. If any of these are removed from your body, they immediately dissipate.
Influence
Your mind Fragments to dozens of separate personalities. Each struggles to be in control, forcing your personality and emotions to change every moment. Conversation is difficult at best, nigh impossible at worst. This does not deter you from your goals, only acting as a nuisance.
Granted Abilities
Psionic Boon
You gain 9 power points when you bind to Rubeus. These are added to your pool of power if you already possess psionic power, or they create a pool and you become a psionic creature for the duration of this binding.
Psionic Insight
You gain access to the psionic powers Crystal Shard, Solicit Psicrystal, Swarm of Crystals, and Touchsight for the duration of the binding. You may manifest each power as a psion would and as if it is a power known by you. You may augment each power as a psion normally could, substituting your effective binder level in place of manifester level.
Crystal Body
Your body becomes living crystal. For the duration of the binding, your creature type changes to Construct(Living Construct), and your statistics change accordingly.
Psicrystal Manifestation
You gain Psicrystal Affinity as a bonus feat. The Psicrystal granted by this feat immediately appears within the summoning circle after you finish binding to Rubeus. Unlike a normal Psicrystal, this Psicrystal always appears as a Fist Size Ruby, with six points, shaped in perfect geometry. It is not a fragment of your personality, but a fragment of Rubeus’s personality. Even so, it is subservient to the you, and is treated as a normal Psicrystal for it’s level.
I am wondering if anyone thinks it may need any adjustment in their abilities, for balance purposes. It looks fine to me, but a second opinion is not bad either.
I'd also like a suggestion on a more proper way to describe the abilities, if possible.
