For all you random people who want to comment on the game and for my players (aftercrescent, alastar, dman11235 and nanshork) if they want to say whatever.
These OOC threads seem to be what all the cool kids are doing, so I'll give this game one too.
For those just tuning in, the gang is on a seriously magically-messed-up area of the Elemental Plane of Fire that is some 20 degrees below 0. They seek entrance into the Fire Palace where the Avatar of the Elemental Lord of Fire has been entombed in an icy prison by the deity Iborighu for a few years. Iborighu left the palace in the care of his servant, the Ice Witch.
As the four Elemental Lords' main bodies have been imprisoned elsewhere for millenia, their only influence on the planes has been through their Avatars-thus the loss of an Avatar is a huge loss to an Elemental Lord, and the Fire Lord can communicate with his clerics only intermitantly and with great effort while he could previously freely communicate through his Avatar.
So for a sizeable sum of money, the Efreeti Pyrax hired these adventurers to free the Fire Avatar from his prison of ice.

POsting standards.
So people who read this all know what's going on, we'll have posting standards.
Underscore will be when a character is speaking
Italic will be for thoughts
Normal text will be to describe and narrate one's action
Bold will be for OOC remarks
Of course, you have to use a bit of logic, when kerasot speaks, i go with both italic and underscore, but he's only speaking, not thinking out loud. (althought you have to think what you're saying... but you get the point)

No offense, but I'm going to stick with the colored speech. The underscore is just not pleasant to read, personally. Everything else I'm okay with As an aside, Alastar, your character seems to know an awful lot about arcane spells

My underscore and italic system was completely opposite from the one you described, so I had to change.

My underscore and italic system was completely opposite from the one you described, so I had to change. As long as the person is consistent, they can talk however they want. Though italics for thought and bold for OOC are preferred.

Removing the last pieces of his full plate, and clerverly arranging them in his backpack, kerasot turns to shadow man and says:
See, i put it in my back pack.

Okay, really odd question, because, frankly, I don't remember. I thought we settled on my casting Deeper Darkness on an item of dman's that he could cover when need be. But, like I said, I don't remember and I could have cast it on him. Does anyone remember what we settled on?

No....but we probably would have thought to cast it on an item so I could have covered it...it's a pretty simple thing that I'm hitting my head over for not thinking of.

I do recall it being cast on an item and not the "Little Bird" himself. Sorry, Alastar's nicknames are catchy.

Alright. So how do you all want to enter and I'll go from there. I don't like saying "and so the group went straight to the front door and gets jumped by Yetis." unless the group actually want to go to the front door.

What was the castle like? Any windows on balconies? That are actually doors, I mean. Also any secret underground passages? That we know of (answer separately please;))?
Rest of you got any ideas?

I vote a low balcony entrance or circle around the back and go in that way, if possible. Front doors are so blasse.
