Summoners get "screwed", but only during combat.
Erudite 7+ wouldn't notice much.

Magic users have haste as well. ToB has white raven tactics, so you can let someone go after you, but unless they are a wizard....you see where this is going.
Unless you're playing 3.0 Haste does nothing special in this scenario. |

Unless you're playing 3.0 Haste does nothing special in this scenario. You caught me being dumb  . In slow world, 3.0 haste would be required, or it just becomes mass expeditious retreat. This thread is only pointing out that casters really don't need their full round to function. |

Really is it the PCs or Monsters that have more of a problem with Slow?
Take the number of melee monsters vs spellcasting monsters.
Now figure every party is expected to have at least two casters.
Add in the easy button of charge damage boosting and the fact not only can you do it, you do it in ways 99% of monsters don't.
Then figure oddities. Extra action abilities (hello belt of battle), turtling ToBers, five breaths of rape adapts, kill it with hellfire, bag of tentaclefoot, and so on.
And what to monsters get to ignore this? Nothing really. Oh look a Choker can make a full attack and casters still can use Assume Supernatural Ability and cast two spells anyway.

Psionics gets a huge boost here, as they have the easiest ways to expand their action economy.
You want to use the Astral Construct power? Use the Linked Power feat.
You want multiple manifestations a round? Quicken Power, and Linked Synchronicity.
You want multiple move actions, or a move and a standard? Hustle.
You want several turns during your round? Temporal Acceleration.
Psi's would likely bust out of their tier 2/3 status and be low tier 1/2 instead.

Since when do casters use their move actions? There are spells that use move actions. That, and it's nice to stay aloft when your fly speed is below perfect for whatever reason. |

Battlefield control (be it spells or the guy with 20 ft reach and Standstill) becomes even more OMFG awesome. AoOs in general become better.
