Hey, I remember watching this. Polish episodes in the links are proof.
Two things I remember most distinctly: each post-episode trailer used to call the episode "Z is for <something related to the plot, starting with a Z of course>". They had to get quite creative with that.
Also, the love interest was surprisingly non-useless. Forget the shotgun like in the opening, I remember her brandishing a friggin' Gatling.
