lol, I don't think that there's a problem with me...  At least not unless you count extreme awesomeness to be a problem.

So, do you have any ideas for a campaign?
Starting level, books allowed etc.?

I'm thinking that we could maybe start at level 10.  I just like that number.  As for books, I'm not sure exactly all of what you guys want to do so I'm open to a few suggestions.

Level 10 sounds like fun Smile
As for books, I have access to pretty much all of them, so that would be awesome Wink

Well, I'm definitely not going to allow a couple like Books or exalted deeds and vile darkness (hate those).  But I'm open to suggestions for the rest.  If you want to go ahead and figure out who's going to be playing and get their names in one place I'll ask them what they would like to see or specifically to not see.

I will update that post soon. For books, just keep as little magic as possible. It is your call on MoI and ToM, though. And keep the damn elder evils out of it.

And original post updated.

@Atrocity: You okay with LA Races? Looking at Half-Giant/Goliath or the +1 LA Half-Minotaur. And LA Buyoff? Flaws? Lots of decisions, I know.

What +2 LA half-minotaur? The only half-minotaur I'm aware of is in a dragon mag and at +1 LA (and incredibly overpowered, but may be just what's needed for this game )

Actually, now that I think about it, you should totally take +2 LA and make a Half-minotaur Goliath. Huge weapons FTW!

So....warlocks?  Psychic warriors?  These will help me decide my build.  I've got a rogue archer that uses a couple warlock levels to try out (anything that gets me darkness as a (sp) works too, I guess), and a monk.  The monk can heal.

Alright, well since this is supposed to be without much magic, I want to try and keep away from the books ToM and MoI as much as possible.  I mean, some will be allowed but please use discretion on that topic.  Well, I want to try and keep it in a more civilized setting so... try and keep it in the realm of more normal creatures.  Ask me if you have anything really specific you want that can kind of fit in and we'll see.

I'm going to count psychic in with magic here because I'd just be playing the transparency anyways.  I really don't know what to do with the warlock.

Either way you rule, I'll be able to do these two builds, they just won't be as effective as when I did have those options.  Psywar just makes me bigger, warlock gets me darkness as a (sp).  That's all I'm taking from those.  So I can be fully effective with a race that has darkness as a (sp) (deeper darkness lasts 1 day/level, so even 1/day it works), and if I can find some other way to grow (not likely) I can be fully effective with the (healing) monk, instead of just 15' reach (still effective at BC, just not as much so).

Though I must say, why no MoI?  It's far from magic.  If you want fully mundane, though I can see it, but how magic items?

Well, I kind of want to make a lot of the magic rarer in terms of helpful npc's.  I will make exceptions for certain things though, so don't be afraid to ask if you want an item.

I expect to see at least a swift hunter and MoMF build coming up. A cabinet trickster would be neat as well; even better if you could snag the half-elf bard racial sub with racial emulation (and two bard levels would be enough to lead into Mindbender 1 later on).

Mmh, I'll probably be going for something with decent HP, maybe a plain old charger, maybe a MOMF or Primeval...
