Does anyone have a method for making a warforged large sized.  Preferably as little cost/ Level adjustment as possible.  Thank you for any help.

Half-Ogre with the feat Human Heritage (Races of Destiny)

Artificer x/Renegade Mastermaker 10 (Magic of Eberron)

That would certainly work, but my friend who asked me about this wants to play an artificer/Fighter/Warforged Juggernaut,
around 10-14th level, this build would likely drop the fighter and then enter WFJ around 11th (13th with level adjust from Half-Ogre).  I do like the idea and renegade mastermaker would fit the character idea well I think, so I will send this off to him as a suggestion.

Does anyone have any other ideas that would require less investment?

If you play with LA buyoff he could buy off his first LA at ECL 8 and his second LA at ECL 10.

Artificer 5/Renegade Mastermaker 10/Warforged Juggernaut 5

1) Human Heritage
3) Power Attack
6) Improved Bull Rush
9) Shock Trooper
12) Improve Sunder
15) Adamantine Body
15) Combat Brute
18)

At level 15 you're still a level 13 artificer which is tier 1 in its own right.  But in this case it's just a bonus since you won't be acting like an artificer.  For most things you charge one round one and full attack on round two.  But unlike most charge builds you have a shit ton of other things to spend your actions on.  If you're starting at level 1, the LA might be a killer (I've had to do it before so it can be done).

At level 20 your BAB is (Assuming partial BAB): +16/+11/+6/+1

Thanks for the advice, I will send him a link to this page.  Also if he can find a DM that would allow the 1/2 minotaur template, on a human he should still qualify for human heritage, and gain a bonus feat (from being human) and only a single LA, which with buyoff is even easier.  Though I don't think many DM's would allow the 1/2 Minotaur.

I wouldn't recommend it, but the Monster Manual 3 has the Warforged Charger.  Up side:  Naturally Large and almost qualifies for Juggernaut out of the box.  Down side: +4 LA, four racial HD, and prohibitive penalties to mental ability scores.

You can also use the Expansion Power in any shape or form, and just keep it up constantly.

Psionic Artificer can do that, no?  Smirk

Get yourself PAO'ed into a Marut. Wink

Or, since you'll be an artificer, Persistent Draconic Polymorph into a War Troll or Firbolg.

That raises an interesting question.  Polymorph explicitly changes your type and subtype, but does it change your kind?

I'm pretty sure all the new erratas said polymorph doesnt actually change your type anymore.

Or was that only for wild shape?

That was Wild Shape.  Polymorph still definitely changes your Type & Subtype.
