Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Just curious, you;re planning to take the Runecaster in the FR campaign setting book, or is there another source?

Races of Stone

Ah, so it's the Runesmith  Smile

I was wondering why would you want to go FR Runecaster with a crusader/wizard

I can't believe I swapped their names, considering I was looking right at the RoS one when I typed it. >.<

Also, if I were being difficult and doing a Southern Magician Alternate Source Spell build to get absolutely NO usefulness out of the class features, I could go FR runecaster

I'm here! Way late. Real life catching up with me. Won't be here from Mar 12 - 20 either, Spring Break vacation! Feel totally free to start without me or just drop me, I understand. Otherwise, here's the character.

Sol Jarrah Duskblade 5/Warblade 1//Jade Pheonix Mage 5/ Wizard 1

This should leave me with CL12 9 and 3rd level spells from Duskblade. In addition, IL11 9. Wizard dip is just filler because I can't think of anything better. Right now it's getting me a feat, Abjurant Jaunt, a couple first level spells, and magic item access.

Race is the big issue for me. I want something Human-like but I can't find anything that fits mechanically and lives long enough. I'm representing Thrane. Anyone have any ideas? Also, is Dragon Magazine allowed?

I'd say Kalashtar, except they are specificalyl mentioned as not having involvement during the Last War with Khorvaire.

We probably won't start before you get back, five story lines is quite a work up...

DragMag is out, I dislike lacking the source of what I allow, sorry.

McPoyo, do you have a location for that? I have no problem allowing one in regardless. A single kalashtar is different from them all being involved.

It's either in the Races of Eberron book, or the Forge of War book, I honestly don't remember, it's been a while since I looked at either. It should be under the Kalashtar racial sections somewhere. I can try to locate it tomorrow if that would help, but I'm AFB atm.

I found a small bit of text in Races of Eberron that says they did fight some, though nothing on the scale of an army.
Quote
In the Last War, Kalashtar forces engaged the Order of the Emerald Claw in Karrnath and the servants of the Lords of Dust in Aundair, and they battled the Cults of the Dragon Below on multiple occasions.
They weren't a power group, but they could pop up.

Now I just need to get into gear and get a battle laid out.

I am just going to post some stuff I have done, we are not starting yet.

Oh, I decided everyone is getting their own thread, running multiple maps in one thread doesn't sound healthy.

Just noticed your edit that you allow partial BAB. Is that optional or mandatory?

If it's mandatory I'd like to ask for your permission to change my character. Partial BAB majorly screws up my build (no more BAB 6, so no Shock Trooper and lack of 2nd attack makes Psicristal Containment useless, I have to choose between 5th level maneuvers and getting Deep Impact earlier than lvl 12).

what is your build that partial bab reduces it? I didn't think that was possible for bab.

It's one of the more interesting side effects of gestalting a class with higher levels of itself.

My build is PsiWar 1-6, then PsiWar 7-9 and Warblade 1-3 in this order (on the other side of gestalt)

Under normal rules, PsiWar 7 gives +1 BAB, which I get, since PsiWar 1 gives 0 BAB. Under fractional BAB rules however I get nothing, since both PsiWar 1 and PsiWar 7 give +0.75 BAB

Why not swap PsyWar 7-9 with something like Slayer that progress manifesting and still provide full BaB?

I've sat down to read the mass combat section of Heroes of Battle three times now. That book is damn hard to read. As players do we need to know the rules or would playing the game normally and making whatever checks you ask for be fine?

Tell me about it...I think it took me close to a month to get through the rules/suggestions for it. I will probably have to reread it before we actually start.  Bang Head

Anyway, I think the only major thing that should affect the players, from what I recall, is the morale check and rally check.
