Only thing I'd need to change would be gear slightly, and maybe languages if it would effect that.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

I'm sure Tome of Battle would be a nice addition too. Big Grin

Well so far I have a world to work with but no story to tell. I'm trying to figure something out right now, but not having any good ideas as to what to do with the party.

As far as books I can say ToB is in for sure, I'm fairly certain I'll let in the binder i'm just not familiar with them so I'd have to actually look at it first. My aim is to have tier 3 power for all the PCs.

If this is the case, would you allow homebrew? I know there are a bunch of tob modified phb classes that were lower than tier 3, like the ranger and paladin, as well as other base classes. Not that we should all be martial adepts, but it might be an interesting few additions.

I would like to change my race from Orc to Elf because in that climate, I believe we will be fighting more in the daylight and I do not want to be dazzled all the time.  If thats ok AA.

I'm fine with any changes to current characters as long as they will fall into the new guidelines for the setting. I still need to decide what the story is going to be otherwise you guys will have a rather boring journey through the world though.

I think I have the answer to the campaign arc issue. It may end up being a bit repetitive but it is at least a start. I'll start a new thread in the PBP general forum in the morning with the rules for the game as well as a very short world brief to give you guys a feel for it.

It is up here.

Sorry shadow but for what I was doing for the world clerics are out. Though you can play Shim. very similarly with a Favored Soul with the changes to classes I have.
