Oh, I fully expect for both my characters to die long before that.
I expected that with the last playtest group, but they almost made it to the finale. The only reason they didn't was because one player gave up (he was upset that his character could do anything -- ogre mage/monk), and then we ran out of time.

Oh, I just realised we forgot to put my cohort on the map.

Put him anywhere you like:) I Imagine he would be close to one of the doors.

He's by the lavatory door.

Also, our large-sized friend is taking up four squares now.

This is so much harder to do without actual minis.

Demon in the Lavatory why does the idea of a bone devil showing up above (do to fly) almost feel like something out of the Aliens movies lol

You don't know there's a demon in there, and the door's closed. But I know what you mean.

And I misspoke earlier. I said that the ceiling was 20 feet. It's only 12 feet. That's what I'd said at the beginning when everyone walked into the mansion. 20 feet is how high the fog cloud goes if it could go that high.

Sorry for me asking, but what is HS? And is it visible?

You don't know. The door's closed so unless you open it to escape the fog, you won't know.

However, if you do open and enter as a full action, yes it's invisible, it's a she if you can see her, and she's not in the doorway -- She's in the space of the H.

That's not half bad. I'll move him outside asap. And you do know where the general is. He's at the teleportation spot where you all came in. TBH, I've never much like Mental Pinnacle because it basically nullified magic items, and I always carried a lot.

Mental Pinnacle is great for still being useful but not wasting Spells. I love to use it as the last thing in a series of spells, and when I feel I have done enough, I cast it and use my buffs to keep me alive, why using either Ego Whip or Psionic Blast to destroy opponents. It is usually better in my campaigns where the Psionics is different rules are often in effect.

An alternative is using Magic Jar, which while only one spell keeps you being a thread for one round per enemy, although I assume the demons will saves are too good for this to be effective.

Anyway, Alkazar has only one spell trigger item, which he is not about to use in a fog (that could be dangerous)

betrayor.

We're waiting on some questions we had on his character to get answered in the Simple Question section. We need to know if the damage being dealt is accurate or not.

So what is the verdict?

Can I use leap attack with pounce?

While I think that by raw it works,I can totally see not allowing it because as you said it does not make sense to add the bonus damage to the secondary attacks....

Is there any question about combining leap attack with pounce? The jump from leap attack is part of a charge, and pounce allows you to use a full-attack on a charge. Thus, leap and follow through with a full-attack. Now, I assume the real question is does the damage multiplier affect all the attacks. Since Leap Attack is based on modifying the bonus provided by Power Attack, one must see if Power Attack affects all the attacks of a full-attack. The wording for Power Attack states that you decide on a single number to apply to all attack/damage rolls for a round, meaning, among other things, that you can't power attack for different amounts on individual rolls during a single round. The same penalty/bonus applies to all attacks and damage for a full attack. Thus, the damage for Leap Attack should also be multiplied the same way for each successful attack.

Now, I'm not sure if the calculation of damage is correct, but they ought to all have the bonus.

Well yes.....
By raw you are right.....
It is just that Kevin may rule differently in this case.....

This is my thought. Like Leading the Charge, they didn't figure on anyone going with pounce and leap attack. By RAW it says you can do it because they don't have the line "however, if you're using pounce". Leap Attack gives you the bonus of you jumping and landing. It's momentum and drop. When your first attack hits, you have landed. So how do all the other attacks hit? Are you just that fast that you can swing a greatsword in the air five times as you're landing? IRL, that's just not even remotely possible. In cartoons and video games it's doable.

I've asked on Simple Questions, and I was looking for a confirm. Basically, as RAW, it is possible. Whether it's physically possible through actual physics and reality, it's up for debate.

This is why I'm not a fan of RAW. It allows you to go "Ooh, look at what I can break today in 3.5." However, acknowledge that this can go both ways now.

It's my turn now, and I've most definitely got the time to do everything, but I'm reconsidering some things. The one problem I've always had about being a DM is I'm too nice. As in, I have great ideas, but I don't like going through with them because of fear of people disliking me. I've had players who've gotten frustrated with their characters, even though they made them themselves, so I've usually held back.

Going over what the next two people can do, and what I want to do, I'm kind of second guessing myself. However, you guys knew when you came in that this was a Tomb of Horrors type one-shot. Then again, you have put some time and effort into your characters...

It's a one-shot and even though I spent a lot of time making my characters, I knew they were fairly weak compared to what others could accomplish, and I expected them to die before the end. Just not this soon into the adventure.
